  @MarinaPurkiss @EE I never have a contract. Use giffgaff and monthly goody bag. Can never be overcharged or get into any of these silly situations.

  @Ajarncom I only have to call the UK from time to time. Best option I found was to order a Giffgaff SIM (or esim), stick a fiver in it and just top up when required. It usually connects to the AIS network here so calls etc all good. Serves 2 purposes with being able to receive UK SMS also

  @giffgaff Yes have tried this and they not able to refund me so I can continue with my plan ..but I feel I should be reimbursed something as never heard of data costing that much didn't even give me chance to get on my gif gaff account to restart contract

  I’ll never ******* forget when I first moved her and my dad took me to get a plan (I had my own device) I couldn’t believe it. Going from £15 a month unlimited everything on GiffGaff to $120 with Telus literally brought tears to my eyes.
