  • Kevjarm Kevin Armstrong (@Kevjarm) reported

@giffgaff this might be a stupid question but how long does it take to activate a sim card as we've bought a data package but still can't use it away from WiFi?

  • AskKlarna AskKlarna (@AskKlarna) reported

@irishmog @Klarna @giffgaff Hi, we are very sorry to hear this; we would be more than happy to have a look at the issue. Please contact us via live app chat - we are available 24/7 - for us to assist you. Thank you

  • Myers_Helper Lisa (@Myers_Helper) reported

@giffgaff My current phone contract with Vodafone ends on 5th Feb. I wanted to give 30 days notice get a pack code and come over to giff gaff. But they're telling me if I give 30 days notice they'll just cancel my number but won't give me a pac code

  • sambakey Sam Clark (@sambakey) reported

@giffgaff Thanks for your super quick answer. Sorry, I meant for the monthly rolling SIM only goodybag rather than the payg one. Does that mean on the monthly rolling one there will never be extra costs? (Can’t accidentally use more data etc and get extra charges) or just on payg? Thanks

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@miillsy You would have been given a transfer date Amy, and on this date, both SIMs would lose service, with your giffgaff SIM then being disconnected as your number would then be on your new SIM. If this hasn't occurred, please contact your new provider. - giffgaff Jeanette

  • mackman_gma Kevin Mackman 🇺🇦 (@mackman_gma) reported

@L3GSV Giffgaff, cheap, never any issue, good coverage, they even sell refurbed phones with full warranty, never an issue

  • giffgaff giffgaff | The mobile network run by you (@giffgaff) reported

@Myers_Helper You should be able to get your PAC code from Vodafone Lisa, so it may be worthwhile speaking with them again regarding getting this from them. Once used, this would cancel your current SIM with them, so you wouldn't need to wait till February. - giffgaff Jeanette

  • Myers_Helper Lisa (@Myers_Helper) reported

@giffgaff In an ideal world vodaphone should give a pac code. But after speaking to 3 different customer service advisers this is definitely not going to happen so I'll need a new number

  • WSC0_X { wsc }; (@WSC0_X) reported

@Messsingh @MartinSLewis That's because iD Mobile uses the Three network. Try someone like giffgaff which is on the much better O2 network.

  • miillsy Amy Mills (@miillsy) reported

@giffgaff Hi, I was expecting my number I currently have with giffgaff to disconnect today as I’m porting it to another network. But it doesn’t seem to have happened. Can someone tell me when that’s expected to happen please?
