@giffgaff why the heck is the “slower data” once I use my 20gb 4g allowance comically bad. Like my phone is barely usable. Joke of a “network.” That’s not even an exaggeration, sending messages takes 3 minutes. I timed it.

@Darmapow The only thing I can think of is to use a provider that doesn’t share its network (giffgaff as an example piggyback O2), but volume on the mast will muller the upload speed.

@Binzyi @KellyQuilt In that case, you're consigned to never being able to take advantage of the free market (in this respect at least). Giffgaff would probably not suit you anyway, since it relies heavily on its user base to provide mutual support to subscribers when they have queries.

@BenjyNtheMonkey I've used Giffgaff for many years, they use O2 network so maybe the way to go would be check various network coverage in your area.

@giffgaff Yo, upload speed has been pitiful. Until last week, I was getting 8Mbps up on average and now I cant seem to get more than 1. I use my connection for online gaming and need it to be reliable. I never use more than 100GB a month so fair use shouldnt be an issue.

EE 4g tower that covers my flat is down *again* so mobile will not work there. Am in the park rn to get signal. After it happened last time I switched mobile internet provision to Giffgaff/O2 and for a month that's been fine. That too is now not working. **** my digital life.

@lrl014 @giffgaff Hi. Yes you can. You are allowed 20gig max data usage per goodybag in a 63 days period. Dont buy a goodybag bigger than 20GB for EU/EEA usage. Reason is after 20GB data will cost 0.36p/MB and u’ll still not be able to start a new goodybag early until it’s down to 100 MB or below.

@giffgaff I moved to your network yesterday and bought an £8 goody bag, but have had NO signal since. How can I get a refund so that I can go back to my previous network? Thanks.
