@hellojamie_t giffgaff. month by month so no contract and can go up or down as you need each month re data allowance. It means owning your phone outright though but cheaper in the long run.

@dexychik Yup - you'd think for something that important... Worth looking into giffgaff for their service too - £6 a month gets you free texts and calls (mostly - obvious exceptions apply) and 500mb (iirc) of data. And it's month to month, so you can cancel whenever without penalty.

@giffgaff why is the mobile data so slow? It has been terrible for the last month but to not even load up Uber or google is too much. If it isn't resolved you will need to refund me for the monthnof unusable internet.

@thealso @giffgaff At least you get to use it overseas. @ThreeUK shafted me recently. Didn't know you had to let them know. Using wi-fi and Twitter they said they were going to TEXT me a password for the website. I HAD NO NETWORK! Got the password when l returned to the UK. It didn't work.

I didn’t want to change mobile provider. But I was told this was the only way I could keep my service bill at a level I could afford. I was very happy with the PAYG service I had from @giffgaff, and did not want to change, but it was that or a surcharge.
