Thirdly! What network are you on? If you're on an MNVO (e.g. GiffGaff, Tesco Mobile etc please use the piggyback network if you know it)

@HywelSedgwick @alexhern I'm on GiffGaff which uses O2, didn't get it but I use 3G due to poor 4G and 5G connectivity so that's probably the reason for me.

@flyfour @giffgaff 4 phones, same location, same network and only one phone got the alert. So the reality is, its neither network nor mast. Its just another broken system.

@TheBaoth @giffgaff My wife and I are both on @giffgaff. She got her alert, I didn't! Never mind. She'll be fine, while I drown, or fall into a black hole. #EmergencyAlerts

@mvonschantz I have a dual SIM phone, I don't know if I was to receive one message on my phone or from the different networks as I only received one, and my second phone did not receive anything and it is on the Three network. I can't even say if it came on the Three or GiffGaff network.

I think the #emergencyalert was a great idea however my brother and i who are with ID mobile, unlike everyone else in our house who are with EE and giffgaff, we did not get the alert. Overall its a bit of a let down. However, i do understand it was just a trial.

@TheBaoth @giffgaff It's not network related, it's sent by the nearest cell mast that you're connected to, irrespective of network

@ConstantGeekery Same here across 5 devices connected to @SMARTYMobileUK and @giffgaff networks. May be because Smarty devices were connected though WiFi calling and giffgaff only had 3G signal. 3/Smarty have acknowledged there was a problem and say they’re working to resolve it for real alerts!
