On my 10th restart to try to get @giffgaff to link to a mobile network that will give me data.

  • Witham69 Witham69 (@Witham69) reported

@VOXI_UK @giffgaff Yes I accept that, but why do you alter that particular phone setting during an update? You don't change any other settings on my phone when it restarts, just that one. It's a problem for people with secret or hidden phones in abusive relationships for example.

@TomTalksMoney_ @moneybanks14 @MartinSLewis I admit to getting my son’s cast offs- but he gave me iPhone 11 last year so not bad. Been with giffgaff for years. Just went up to £8 month. Gives me plenty of data etc.

@SimpkinEngineer @jwflame @russty_russ My giffgaff SIM only needs to be used once every 6 months to keep it active. I use Smarty SIMs for data connections (unlimited for £20 or less). Both of which are easily topped up online, no issues using either of them in routers/diallers.

  • The__JC Justin Cohen (@The__JC) reported

@MartinSLewis I've been with @giffgaff for years. Never paid more than £10 per month, and they keep upping the data allowance. Great service and fair price. I'm going nowhere else 🤩

Said it before will say it again. Nigerians treat casual relationships like hookups. I just cannot can. Pls why is giffgaff removing money from my acct? What did I buy?

  • M0KPH Phil - M0KPH (@M0KPH) reported

@citifax We moved from O2 to GiffGaff after their appalling service and frequent price rises. Same network, so no loss of the service you are getting.

@kinson1964 Hi James. A membername can only be changed upon your first log in after activating a SIM, so unfortunately the membername can't be changed after this. However, we are sorry to see you have had issues completing the survey, thank you for passing this onto us. - giffgaff Megan

Just been sent a really good email from @giffgaff about the test of the UK emergency alert system on Sunday, including advice for survivors of domestic abuse on how to disable it on hidden phones. Well done @giffgaff.
