After reviewing my complaint, giffgaff has officially refused to reinstate my number and has also refused to refund my remaining balance, including the ยฃ10 I topped up shortly before my account was disconnected. I understand that operators have roaming policies, but I believe customers should receive a clear warning before being allowed to top up if their account is already at risk of disconnection. Losing both the service and the newly added credit feels unfair. They also advised me to request a PAC within 30 days if I want to keep my number. Has anyone else had the same experience with giffgaff? I'd be interested to hear how your case was handled. #giffgaff #Roaming #ConsumerRights

Hey @giffgaff I bought an eSIM with you nearly 48 hours ago. The eSIM still hasnโ€™t activated and my contract with Vodafone is now expiredโ€ฆ but you have ported my number over. So I have no data and can receive no calls. eSIM activation should be instant, at max, 24 hours. No option to call up or get an instant agent response. Any help? Yours truly, a man without a phone.

@dbcxptures Been with Giffgaff for ever. Never had an issue. Never had a price increase either.

@giffgaff messaged your team to let them know the mast is still broke in my area and I still have no signal for calls or data use. I have been refunded in the past, now Iโ€™m being told to leave - we have several contracts with you and your customer service is usually much better?

@giffgaff @giffgaff we tried this it says chat isnโ€™t available and to submit a web form which we did. The service has been pretty shocking so far however. Donโ€™t you guys test the phones?! Apple diagnostics can be run self service these days so there isnโ€™t really an excuse

@EE @giffgaff you must be aware of the scam company OnTopUp that uses your credentials to scam customers. Weโ€™ve had to TWICE cancel fake accounts in our names which we NEVER signed up for & theyโ€™ve taken money from both our bank accounts every month even after cancellation! We will be seeking legal advice against them & unfortunately you too as they are part of your circle.

@giffgaff Listen, you have no right to disconnect my service. Iโ€™m a legitimate user currently residing in China longโ€‘term. Blocking my card will cause me serious trouble!

@tescomobile how come some areas like manchester/st Peter square as an example. And also parts of Wythenshawe and flixton. I have signal but NO data. But others on giffgaff and o2 have no issue? Only tesco? (yet also uses the o2 network) I have to keep switch to a 2nd sim/network
