Brad Channer (@BradChanner) reported from Cardiff, Wales@O2 This has always been an issue. We are with giffgaff whom I believe use your signal. I have tried everything. I have even bought a booster, but the reception coming into the booster isn’t enough to even make the booster work. Very frustrating. I have to sit in a window 4 reception

giffgaff (@giffgaff) reported@Kari_Casanova29 If he is having issues with the most recent update he will need to reply to the agents through the case and let them know, Karina. This isn't something we can investigate further through social media unfortunately - giffgaff Jade

Siah (@Isi868) reported@giffgaff your robot that only works during a specific time in the week is annoying me. What's the point? Customers need support. How can I get the help I need?
-
Jay Smith (Sonic/Dragonwolf) (@DragonWolf5589) reported@tescomobile how come some areas like manchester/st Peter square as an example. And also parts of Wythenshawe and flixton. I have signal but NO data. But others on giffgaff and o2 have no issue? Only tesco? (yet also uses the o2 network) I have to keep switch to a 2nd sim/network

kazzie (@kazzie222) reported@stitch_83 @giffgaff I feel your pain Pete , I got so fed up with not being updated or given an date for when the service would resume I’ve gone with another provider

Sam Greenland (@SprocketEtQuill) reported@virginmedia Another Virgin Media engineer came out again to bury the cable from house to street. The cable is now in trunking over ground and the internet service was severed. You have said it will take yet another on-site engineer to fix the connection and left me without a connection for the week - until an engineer is available. You have, however, paid £100 towards the cost of the alternative internet provider. Your logic was £30 for data (on a #GiffGaff SIM card which I chose) and £70 for a dongle. I bought a £120 4G modem for external use that connects directly to my #Unifi switch on WAN2, bypassing your hub altogether and giving a connection back to my whole house rather than just one computer with a USB port. Given it's taken since November to bury this cable, I'm not convinced tomorrow's engineer will be able to fix the connection or bury the cable. We will see how the day unfolds. Your contact centre staff all aim to be very helpful, and your service (when it's working) does provide a decent connection most of the time, but your implementation is lacking.

MSec (@_msec_) reportedAh apparently @giffgaff no longer offer free EU Roaming the greedy *****. Well I needed a reason to finally switch good job you lost a customer over £8. Pricks.

TheDePINCat 🐈🌐 (@TheDePINCat) reported.@giffgaff have generally been good (10 years+ a subscriber). For the past few days, I have been unable to send texts from my UK number. I had to go onto a forum to diagnose what I thought was a device problem. Reset my network settings (no help). And then back to the forum to find a coverage map. Ideally, giffgaff would send alerts to impacted areas so we are aware with this information. And, with connectivity being fundamental to everything we do in the digital world, communication should be treated as high priority as a burst water pipe or gas leak. This is why community-owned networks are so crucial. There is an extra level of care and concern when the issue directly impacts you.

michael bell (@newcastleguy) reported@giffgaff as gifgaff run on the 02 network has anyone had any problems, network is poor right now, cuts you off while in a call, delayed in connection?
-
Pete Lawson (@stitch_83) reported@giffgaff Yes, they reply once I have chased them and simply say we don’t have an update so it’s now been 20 calendar days with a partially working sim plan - sorry but it’s not good enough - I don’t want a response - I want a solution!!

giffgaff (@giffgaff) reported@JasonScargill Thanks for confirming. This is usually a security block, but it's not always clear why this happens. Sometimes disconnecting from the WiFi can help. This is generally a temporary issue so allowing some time before retrying can work too - giffgaff Hannah
