This, after the @giffgaff Twitter team were quite insistent on doing a SIM swap. Because apparently, the fact that my current SIM works fine when connecting to a different mast means nothing to them. Top tip: NEVER take tech advice from Giff Gaff!

  • WilliamNB 🚲 Will 🇬🇧🇿🇦 (@WilliamNB) reported

Oh look, I'm out and about, with working Internet on my phone. Just at home I don't have signal, but hey @giffgaff says there's nothing wrong with the mast & are sure it must be my phone, my account, or my SIM

@mouthwaite @EE Don't use contract phones. Buy a phone the best you can afford and pay insurance for it. Use giffgaff (O2 network) They advise you if you are on wrong tariff for your use ie. I was buying a goodybag costing £20pm they emailed me suggesting I use £10pm. Amazing company
