Also phones keep trying to connect to 5g which we don't have here - TA20 3SZ. My phone right now has 5 and award arrow. There doesn't appear to be any mast problem.

When ordering a SIM you can choose a free SIM or pre-purchase your first plan, but no further payments will be taken until the SIM is activated on the account after you receive it. svengali (@_imey) reported@DanNeidle I've had the same SIM-only rolling monthly deal from Giffgaff for 10 years. I've always paid £10 for it. My £10 now gets me as much 5G as I've ever needed. I've never run out of data. I think this data reflects the British consumer's obsession with buying phones through contracts. Unless I've got this wrong, and this chart is showing data-only.
