    @giffgaff Sat in Motherwell trying to send a watsapp the other day and it wouldn’t even connect. The giffgaff app would even log me in it was so bad.

    Btw does anybody else use @giffgaff I got myself a sim for data while I’m in Scotland and they are dugmeat, so so bad I keep thinking my bundles ran out

    @virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica gifgaff, who are part of O2, who now work with Virgin Media. All part of Telefonica (and Liberty Global). A FOI request detailing how network coverage map data is recorded, updated, and published would be interesting to see. It seems to be very different from reality.

    .@giffgaff have generally been good (10 years+ a subscriber). For the past few days, I have been unable to send texts from my UK number. I had to go onto a forum to diagnose what I thought was a device problem. Reset my network settings (no help). And then back to the forum to find a coverage map. Ideally, giffgaff would send alerts to impacted areas so we are aware with this information. And, with connectivity being fundamental to everything we do in the digital world, communication should be treated as high priority as a burst water pipe or gas leak. This is why community-owned networks are so crucial. There is an extra level of care and concern when the issue directly impacts you.

    @mhewson_MCH @NickOresme @O2 I just switched to Giffgaff, 40gb data, and unlimited calls etc Β£10 a month on a rolling monthly contract. The 5G has been much more consistent with Giffgaff although it's the same network!!

    @lukerobertblack The Boomers think that because you spend a tenner a month on a GiffGaff and have a phone that costs Β£20 a month you are frivolous and don't work hard. And that a one bedroom flat at 12x earnings is just a matter of knuckling down.

    @KyleTSpence @MartinSLewis @O2 Their prices are horrible though, and their Giffgaff MVNO has worse speeds than proper O2 unlike ID Mobile/Voxi which are just as fast as Three/Vodafone.

    @O2 @giffgaff hi, I’ve been experiencing service issues on the giffgaff network in Stowmarket area for nigh on a week now. Service status on both your pages state there’s a phone mast issue but should be able to do all the usual things, however you can’t. ETA on fix?

    @O2 invasive ask your salary when you get a mobile phone contract. I have never had any other service provider do this. If you need access to 02s network without the invasive data collection you can use giffgaff or tesco instead.
