@katiem565 @giffgaff Issue a county court summons. They have to respond or they instantly lose and then you can have bailiffs go round and seize their assets to pay you. Trust me they will give you your money back. It's easy to do sue @giffgaff

@giffgaff Hi Jeanette, it was reported to the police at the time. But although a three sim was tried after purchase to ensure it was unlocked, a uk sim was never used as it was used in Dubai after its return. I’m guessing the police had it blacklisted as he made the report only to them!

@giffgaff I believe the network was giffgaff at the time, (Sorry a bit complicated) and insurance wasn’t involved as the item was recovered at the airport!

@Lee_E_Collins @northcamesouth I dropped O2 a few years back and went to Giffgaff (which actually is part of O2) and I've never needed more than the 30gb of data I get for my fifteen quid a month. Very happy with it, especially as my OnePlus 5t still keeps going on and on relentlessly. Recommended.

@giffgaff This is the issue. I need to get this resolved now. Sending chats and waiting 24 hours for a message to resolve an issue on your side isn’t ideal. Is there a contact number I can call instead?

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK I know this won’t help with what has happened with all these truly awful stories but I stopped paying for a contract years ago. Swapped to @giffgaff who have been brilliant. I’ve never looked back, I’d urge everyone to swap to a rolling monthly contract instead.

@7771Jake Hi Jake. If the phone has been blacklisted, you'll need to speak with your network provider that would have blacklisted the phone upon replacing your SIM. If you've went through your insurance company, they may be able to remove this. - giffgaff Jeanette
