@SMARTYMobileUK just changed my provider from Giffgaff to @SMARTYMobileUK and the coverage is terrible I keep getting 'data usage alerts' no signal Not very happy #mobilecoverage

Emergency alert received by child on giffgaff, wife on EE but nothing for me on EE. All in the same room and both types of alert turned on for me in iPhone settings #emergencyalert

@tech604boy @marxfemkitty It's funny, it went off for people who had disabled the alerts, then loads of people never got the alert at all. From what I've heard, Giffgaff users got it a minute early, and me and many others on Three never got it at all. Wouldn't be by the UK gov if it worked properly, eh?

@ConstantGeekery Same here across 5 devices connected to @SMARTYMobileUK and @giffgaff networks. May be because Smarty devices were connected though WiFi calling and giffgaff only had 3G signal. 3/Smarty have acknowledged there was a problem and say they’re working to resolve it for real alerts!

Didn't get the #emergencyalert and I'm on @giffgaff so having a patchy mobile signal is a benefit after all.

@Rick_Turner @TheSimonC90 I’m with giffgaff which runs on O2. What is the coverage like where you are? If you were not receiving a 4G/5G signal at the time of the test, you wouldn’t have received the alert. There are so many places around here that only get 3G and they won’t have received the alert.

Hi @giffgaff just wondering if there are reasons why I received no emergency alert today at 3pm ish? got multiple giff gaff phones and an iPad that received no alert, and curious if outside of it being a failure with the goverment system, if there is another reason?
