@BreakIntoProg @barry_barcrest I chucked all my stupid overpriced business plans in the bin and went to Giffgaff a couple of years ago. Couple of odd little quirks, but really have no complaints and save a ton of money. Very good CS too. Tend to sort you out / benefit of doubt if problems.

Hi @o2, I'm using a Giffgaff SIM in Warton LA5 9RY and there is no 4g connection at all. Was fine a couple of weeks ago. Site says no issues but only connects to 3g and really slow. Any advice pls

@gav @giffgaff I experienced 3G for the first time in a long time when I was up in Shetland last month and while it was painfully slow, there was connectivity.

@gav You’re likely to get poorer bandwidth allocation on a cell when on a network like GiffGaff. GG will have a smaller share of O2’s capacity, in turn carving that up between all the 3/4/5G traffic on the cell. Potentially end up with a useless amount allocated.
