@giffgaff I've just spent 3 weeks in Kent with no internet signal outside my daughter's WiFi. No signal in London either. O2 network clearly hasn't improved in the last 10 years since I lived in Oxford and had no signal in most of the city.

@giffgaff @Ofcom we have 3 #giffgaff sims and none of them are getting for that 1mbs / 0.3mbps data, and calls are zero. We have rebooted every device. Nothing. Its already 3 days! And coverage is "good/normal". PO41 0NR plus 10 mile radius. We all have 100GB goodybags. #wtf #FFS

@gav You’re likely to get poorer bandwidth allocation on a cell when on a network like GiffGaff. GG will have a smaller share of O2’s capacity, in turn carving that up between all the 3/4/5G traffic on the cell. Potentially end up with a useless amount allocated.

  • rickilee Ricki Lee (@rickilee) reported

@gav @giffgaff Bet they have you on an old APN. Unsure if you can manually change them and the last time I did it, I had to delete all network settings to force a EE download. That means bye bye known wifi networks.

Still dealing with the @GiffGaff fallout. Have lost my 20+ year old Ebay account because they need to send me a text to the GiffGaff number I no longer have. They are the absolute worst mobile company I have ever dealt with.

@stephennaylor @gav @giffgaff Problem here is O2. I gave up using them for data, just so I reliable. Full reception, can't load pages. Then 5 minutes later get a burst of 30 seconds of speedy internet then goes again.

I’m sick of this. My data is so slow it’s impossible to use. It goes back to normal at like 6pm #giffgaff
