I had to go onto a forum to diagnose what I thought was a device problem. Reset my network settings (no help). And then back to the forum to find a coverage map. Ideally, giffgaff would send alerts to impacted areas so we are aware with this information. And, with connectivity being fundamental to everything we do in the digital world, communication should be treated as high priority as a burst water pipe or gas leak. This is why community-owned networks are so crucial. There is an extra level of care and concern when the issue directly impacts you.

readwithai (@readwithai) reported@O2 invasive ask your salary when you get a mobile phone contract. I have never had any other service provider do this. If you need access to 02s network without the invasive data collection you can use giffgaff or tesco instead.

Matt (@MattskiMK) reported@PeterCrouchPod got me thinking! My loyalty to @VodafoneUK is being abused. Their charge increase is #phoneshithousery & for a 5 phone family with me being 20 years in maybe time for a change #onenetworkplayer 3 phones out of contract - where do i go?
