giffgaff (@giffgaff) reported@JasonScargill Thanks for confirming. This is usually a security block, but it's not always clear why this happens. Sometimes disconnecting from the WiFi can help. This is generally a temporary issue so allowing some time before retrying can work too - giffgaff Hannah

Observer_of_Decline (@Decline_Observe) reported@lukerobertblack The Boomers think that because you spend a tenner a month on a GiffGaff and have a phone that costs Β£20 a month you are frivolous and don't work hard. And that a one bedroom flat at 12x earnings is just a matter of knuckling down.

Mark πββ¬ πββ¬ (@TheBossnME) reported@virginmedia @giffgaff @Telefonica gifgaff, who are part of O2, who now work with Virgin Media. All part of Telefonica (and Liberty Global). A FOI request detailing how network coverage map data is recorded, updated, and published would be interesting to see. It seems to be very different from reality.

TheDePINCat ππ (@TheDePINCat) reported.@giffgaff have generally been good (10 years+ a subscriber). For the past few days, I have been unable to send texts from my UK number. I had to go onto a forum to diagnose what I thought was a device problem. Reset my network settings (no help). And then back top the forum to find a coverage map. Ideally, giffgaff would send alerts to impacted areas so we are aware with this information. And, with connectivity being fundamental to everything we do in the digital world, communication should be treated as high priority as a burst water pipe or gas leak. This is why community-owned networks are so crucial. There is an extra level of care and concern when the issue directly impacts you.

giffgaff (@giffgaff) reported@TimLinkin It can take up to 24 hours for an agent to get back to you, but it is usually a lot sooner than that. One of the team will be in touch as soon as possible to help. - giffgaff Ann

My Name is Phil (@philhguk) reported@xxx_kimbo_xxx @EE I used to be with EE then all of a sudden I couldnt get a signal in my own home so I switched to GiffGaff, I still only get 1 bar but at least it works. Considering I live about a 10 - 15 min walk from the town centre the mobile signal here is shite on all networks.

Meady (@Meady19Meady) reported@EE @JordanRichmond Tbf EE has gone so far down the pan even considering leaving them myself giffgaff is so much cheeper and you deal with less rubbish as well
