I am in the process of terminating my domestic ISP contract early on the grounds of unreliability and continuously slow speeds. I've returned to mobile broadband. Get a phone that can work as a wi-fi hotspot or a cheap mobile router, plus a SIM from Smarty or Giffgaff.

@giffgaff trying to reset pwd for account - I have two numbers registered to the same email address, going round and round with unhelpful emails from the 'forgotten password' link on your page. Can you help?

  • am_henderson Al Henderson (@am_henderson) reported

@giffgaff Take that back.. it works now! Is there any way to see both my numbers from the same login?

  • am_henderson Al Henderson (@am_henderson) reported

@giffgaff Ok, that link worked when I entered one of my member names, and I can login. But the other one isn't working - I changed the password, now I can't log in, the login page just says "oops, something went wrong on our side". Have tried a few times now...

@dirtystopoutesx @EE EE have the worst customer service, it's part of why I went to GiffGaff, because you're treated properly and decently, whereas EE, a BT company, seem to go out of their way to be so utterly appalling!

  • lasombra_br Ingo (@lasombra_br) reported

@giffgaff Thanks, but I will need to use a MiFi device so we can work, have meetings and the whole thing while ISP doesn’t install their service. Is this allowed?

  • fluoresenz 🎹 Franz Schubert (@fluoresenz) reported

Smarty is Three 3G and 4G, owned by the same company. The top speed I've had so far is over 38 Mb/s. It's usually slower in the daytime. Recently, I had 9 Mb/s but last night I had over 30 Mb/s. Giffgaff is less cheap and uses the O2 network. I've been with them since 2014.
