@alexbloor @Johndevine @giffgaff Yeah. They have an actual trial with real (hmm!) esims. I have one phone with an eSIM. In an iPhone. As I have a feeling that’s the only thing they launched the trial with. They even have support pages for it.

@tescomobile serious question, when topping up with yourselves will I need to deal with a two factor authentication hurdle or can I just sign in and top up? [been years since I was with Tesco mobile] GiffGaff are doing my head in with theirs.

@MartinSLewis Please note that price alone for a virtual network does not take priority into account. Example: giffgaff is a virtual network provider on O2's network. But the moment that there is contention (lots of people using it), O2 will give their own direct customers priority. 1/2

@SpeedbirdFan Hi. It can take up to 24 hours from activation for the services to be fully up and running. During this time we recommend that you reboot the phone off and on again a few times, to help speed this up - giffgaff Jade

How is it possible that I am still stuck on a 3G network with @giffgaff when I signed up for a 5G plan. They should at least have 100% LTE/4G by now. Monthly cost in the US might be higher, but at least we get a decent network. #fail

@kaylathea_ @Iolachristina @victoriasanusi Bought iPhone on giffgaff I was so surprised when they delivered it and I even pick ‘good’ it’s so new and it’s been a year now no problem with the phone

  • jasonbould Jason Bould (@jasonbould) reported

@giffgaff To be fair, I have not, but thanks for pointing me in that direction. I'll give it a bash. The WiFi calling is a serious issue though at home, there's barely any signal on any network but at least with WiFi calling I'm covered.

@MartinSLewis It’s about giffgaff, right? I have paid less than £50 per month for 4 phones for 10 plus years. Data varies - 10, 20, unlimited - but the worst that happens if you run out a week early - buy another “Goodybag” (the name they give their tariffs). Probably happened 5 times.
