@O2 Now if only I could actually use my 4G in the UK instead of having it lock up due to the people with unlimited data hogging all of the bandwidth on tiktok, D+ and netflix. Giffgaff have no problems and yet use your service and they also offer EU roaming. £10 a month for 15GB also

well done, fellow T&H residents. We did right!! (@mpellatt) reported

@NeilCotton @GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK Never, ever, ever take a mobile contract. SIM-free phone plus PAYG or 1-month rolling contract (eg GiffGaff "goodybags") has been cheaper option for literally years now.

Is giffgaff customer service always as useful as a ****** dispenser on Pluto, or have I just been exceptionally unlucky over the past week?

@Evetsskoorb @GeorgeMonbiot Listen, I love Giffgaff but maybe this isn't the time to be plugging another service.

@GeorgeMonbiot @VodafoneUK This is terrible. Vodafone have rubbish customer service. Anyone on long term contract when it comes to an end should think 'sim only' monthly commitment. You may need to stick with the service provider for signal strength so... VOXI = Vodafone. Giffgaff = O2, SMARTY = Three

@giffgaff Hi Jade, I have tried on another device I have cleared cache, cookies and web history but the SAME issue is still persisting.

@mafffhewwalker @giffgaff I'd keep an eye on the O2 status site then because if a mast failure is reported there you'll be able to sign up to get updates by text or email but as no faults are showing at the moment that service isn't available.
