Spent the morning trying to persuade @giffgaff to stop taking £6pm from my debit card for a service I no longer use. They say contact bank. Bank says contact them. I took the giffgaff gamble - and lost.

@Peter__A__Bell @giffgaff The problem is giffgaff don't accept direct debits or you could just cancel it instantly, they take continuous payment authority from your credit/debit card and although they're obliged to the banks don't like cancelling them. Report card lost/stolen with bank will stop it though.

@OGDuckington Last time I finally left o2 …luckily I could afford to buy my phone outright, at the time. I’m with Giffgaff for 2 years now and haven’t looked back. I would never consider contract again.

@iD_Mobile_UK @O2 @giffgaff It was to upgrade before 17th March for the free Samsung buds, which I tried to be well in advance but that offer has now finished. The upfront cost has been increased too. Yes, I would like a call to explain why I have had such poor service.
