@attack_monkey Unlocked Huawei B535's are relatively cheap on eBay. Throw in a GiffGaff (o2) or Smarty SIM (Three) depending on whose cell infra you're nearest to. I do weekly streaming for a church via 4G as no fixed feed.. local Three cell gives 50M down / 30M up happily.

Anyone on @o2 or @giffgaff and found their phone signal performance to be absolutely lacklustre? Everywhere I’ve been the past week has been terrible.

  • LauraKing14 Laura Gibson (@LauraKing14) reported

@giffgaff Surely you can chase internally & tell your agents that their shoddy advice / service is causing a repetutational issue and ask them to prioritise sorting it out?? that's what every other brand worth their salt does via their social teams... & yes it's very frustrating, thanks.

Giffgaff Tasbiya, it’s now 44 hrs since I swapped the sim on Sunday morning and O2 network is still not available and in without any connection when I’m out and about.

  • LauraKing14 Laura Gibson (@LauraKing14) reported

@giffgaff Er yes, that's the problem. They have given me this answer. Can't get through on the phone. Please can you provide a direct phone number or email address so this can be resolved urgently? thanks

  • LauraKing14 Laura Gibson (@LauraKing14) reported

@RoamingRay @giffgaff It's an utter joke. They've just messaged me to say get in touch via the website. Erm, yes have done, hence the poor response. Zero customer service. Just bc they're web based doesn't mean they shouldn't deal with actual problems! Esp of their own making, selling dangerous phone!

  • LauraKing14 Laura Gibson (@LauraKing14) reported

@giffgaff Bought phone from you in August under warranty. Last week I took it out of my bag flashing red hot and had to cool down in freezer. It then turned off. Sent it back to you, you've told me I have to pay £519 to fix it or £15 to send back broken: standard practice?
