    I’ve banked with this branch of @HSBC_UK for 34 years and yet no personal service at all. And of course #HSBC won’t let you ring your own branch to ask for some service.

    Unbelievable, inefficient & poor service from @HSBC_UK. Two standing order requests 4wd to my branch from organisations we wanted to support posted back to me by HSBC telling me I must set them up myself online. Why not JFDI themselves in the time it takes to write? #HSBC

    @mouthwaite @HSBC_UK Go to NatWest they call on the phone, video chat and in person. Been there for 40 years and not a problem getting hold of a human.

    @mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I can recommend @barclays, never had any issues using app or speaking to someone. Last year I opened up two accounts for my children. The process was all done via video banking and the lady that did was excellent and very patient!

    @mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I swapped to First Direct a couple of years ago...I love them.. They regularly win customer service awards.

    @mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I left them in 2013 for similar reasons! Their internet banking was rubbish and trying to speak to a person face to face was impossible unless you wanted to make an appointment several weeks in advance!

    @HSBC_UK the actual complaints department had no clue and zero authority to do anything so what is the point, where do you actually get help?

    @mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I’m with you, I used to work for them and I think they’re the worst of all the banks when you’re trying to get something done. You can’t speak to them direct and when you do you are made to feel like a criminal trying to access your own finances!

    @mouthwaite @HSBC_UK Problems for me to been with them years keep getting locked out on main site mobile site ok but Does not allow you to put payees on site which is a damn nuisance

    @mouthwaite @HSBC_UK I agree. Taken away their counter service and was told to use the post office! You walk into the branch and there isn’t anyone to help you - just machines. Lloyds bank is the one for me! Fabulous staff in my local branch @LloydsBank in Farnham

    @HSBC_UK why is my debit card not working on multiple websites today - you need to sort this out with visa urgently - no good sending an email explaining the new security requirements if you haven’t done the hard work to sort this with partner retailers
