Unbelievable, inefficient & poor service from @HSBC_UK. Two standing order requests 4wd to my branch from organisations we wanted to support posted back to me by HSBC telling me I must set them up myself online. Why not JFDI themselves in the time it takes to write? #HSBC

  • benjaminfuller Ben Fuller (@benjaminfuller) reported from Easingwold, England

I’ve banked with this branch of @HSBC_UK for 34 years and yet no personal service at all. And of course #HSBC won’t let you ring your own branch to ask for some service.

@HSBC_UK When I went to HSBC for help when my husband was diagnosed with a motor Neurone Disease, I was told that his illness was not their problem.

  • shewasmyfriend Tara (@shewasmyfriend) reported

@HSBC_UK I asked HSBC for help during MY last cost of living crisis and they were so helpful they reduced my credit limit (despite me showing them an offer letter for a new job paying more money). I'm gradually withdrawing my business as a result.

@ginga80cas @HSBC_UK Careful Ive had issues last week and got a call today from HSBC claiming to want to discuss issue with my account. Sounded completely legit but wasn’t

@stylo_design @HSBC I am facing the same problem. Every time I log into their website I get the same message: “As we get closer to the date your current deal ends, we’ll be in touch”. Is there anything @HSBC_UK can do?

  • Walesguy2 Walesguy (@Walesguy2) reported

Spent nearly 50 minutes waiting on the phone with @HSBC_UK today. Truly appalling customer service.

  • DotCott00128461 Dot Cotton (@DotCott00128461) reported

@HSBC_UK No, because its lip service. But remember when the banking system came begging for help from the public money during the last recession ya bunch of fcking crooks.

  • derekpr42071720 derek preston (@derekpr42071720) reported

@HSBC_UK They could help by being fair to savers and paying a reasonable interest on their savings.

  • Walesguy2 Walesguy (@Walesguy2) reported

@HSBC_UK You need to employ more people to meet your customer’s needs! It’s pretty simple really. If you put profits before customer service, customers are going to be unhappy. I’ve lodged a formal complaint, but your bank’s ‘service’ continues to decline.
