@HSBC_UK Fuming. Trying to help my elderly father with his banking this morning, with the estate of dead mother (which you've messed up for 8 months), and you've locked us out of the mobile and online accounts for errors you created. We're close to moving our accounts immediately

Y'know what @HSBC_UK, sending out automated letters, vaguely threatening to take away peoples access to overdrafts in this time of unprecedented cost of living crisis, is just the sort of thing that pushes people over the edge. People die because of this. Stop it.

@HSBC_UK Hello, I've been calling for more than an hour trying to book an appointment at my branch and no one is answering. Can you help me?

@mip2202 @HSBC_UK Wasting your breathe mate. Every year the same on the betas and every year people complain and its ignored. HSBC literally only bank who actively block app from working and their policy will never change. The app will start working September as iOS 16 comes out, not a day before.

@HSBC_UK @bat1150gs Hi, the same thing happened back with iOS15 as well and took several months before we could get into our a/c again. I'm overseas and don't have access to a physical key so this is a significant problem. I've logged a complaint but need to see HSBC do more.

@HSBC_UK Hi Abi. Will call tomorrow then but asking customers to roll back is not acceptable. The issue here is the bank, not the apple software. All other banks (Barclays, Bank of America, Revolut and Wise in my case) work perfectly fine.

@Jamb0 @HSBC_UK Oh just seen there’s an international outage for them haha

@HSBC_UK please can you explain why no one is answering your phone lines ? Have been calling all afternoon and being left on hold for 15+mins - unable to access my accounts !

Chilli (@ChillliRose) reported
@CiaranJC95 @HSBC_UK I have to agree, it does seem silly that the issue is resolved within the beta version, as this seems to be an ongoing issue with every beta update.

@HSBC_UK @HSBC Yours is the only banking app I have installed that does not work with iOS public beta… actually it’s the only app not working for me… Just saying…

@HSBC_UK Already submitted via phone. But this means I can’t access my account in any way, does HSBC find leaving its customers without access to their accounts acceptable?
