@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.

@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

The service that I’ve experienced from @HSBC_UK over the last 24 hours in respect of my so called Premier Account is absolutely appalling. I’ve spent hours hanging on for agents who cant resolve simple issues and dealing with an online banking facility that won’t make my payments

@HSBC_UK It would appear I can download just about any other HSBC app, including UK Business Account app - but not UK Retail banking app. I'll do a deal with you HSBC, I won't pay my credit card bill, until you fix the app - I'm not paying any interest either, (1/2)

@CKablooie @HSBC_UK Indeed. They are crap. Last three times I have rung Business customer services I have been waiting for 1.5 hrs each time. You'd think they could afford a few more staff with the $5.4 billion 2021 Q3 pre-tax profits.

@HSBC_UK rejected my current acct switch - after freezing my business account. They gave enough notice of closure - but no way to stop it being frozen. Call queues in excess of 20 mins, inadequate online communications, no more in-branch business team = appalling service!
