HSBC Issues Reports Near Huntingdon, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Huntingdon and nearby locations:

  • ProfMykie Michael Pastor (@ProfMykie) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

I can't imagine how inefficient it was. I was waiting for 10 (they told 5-7) days to set up an account only to find out that they cannot locate my documents. Too much of a hassle @HSBC_UK Such a bad customer service.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@Jennaxgriffin @HSBC_UK I have iOS 15 dev beta 8 and it is working OK. What version do you have?

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

  • dolcevitatoo Lesley Thompson (@dolcevitatoo) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK total frustration in lack of understanding in customer service this evening!

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

  • Waelelquesni Wael Ali (@Waelelquesni) reported

@HSBC_UK Been a HSBC customer since 2009. Received a letter today giving me a less than 2 month notice to close my account and the team are unable to give a reason why. They also expect me to pay my credit card within 2 months which of course will result in financial hardship 1-2

  • SeivadEkul Luke Davies (@SeivadEkul) reported

I’m sorry but the difference between @mbna and @HSBC_UK When you get into debt is ridiculous, one tries their best to help you out of the situation your in the other tries their best to Ruin your life. I’ll remember which one did which once I’m back on my feet...

  • RichieMcM31 Richie Mc Millan (@RichieMcM31) reported
