Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.
-
Michael Pastor (@ProfMykie) reported from Cambridgeshire, EnglandI can't imagine how inefficient it was. I was waiting for 10 (they told 5-7) days to set up an account only to find out that they cannot locate my documents. Too much of a hassle @HSBC_UK Such a bad customer service.
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@Jennaxgriffin @HSBC_UK I have iOS 15 dev beta 8 and it is working OK. What version do you have?
-
Joey (@joey_geoloog) reported from Roxton, England@HSBC_UK Hi Avril Thanks but the voice prompts on the phone say otherwise, it advises to log in online. Can you check the screenshots in my original tweet and pass this onto someone who can fix it? Thanks
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2
-
Lesley Thompson (@dolcevitatoo) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK total frustration in lack of understanding in customer service this evening!
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

Alan Bullion PhD (@alanbullion2) reported from Royal Tunbridge Wells, England@1988Harrington @Barclays @HSBC_UK I don’t think any of them want to employ actual staff anymore sadly. It’s all apps and self service machines these days. Good 👍 idea though - perhaps part of the Town Hall space could be deployed.
-
Polly1954 (@Polly004f) reported@HSBC_UK My question was how to log in without a qr code. How can I scan a qr code when using the device with the scanner to try and log on to the website. For clarity I only have one device.
-
Mrs Whits (@lizflenley) reported@HSBC_UK This is what I’ve tried but when I call it just directs me to the website to book and then the call ends so I can’t actually get through to book an appointment!
-
Simon Laskey (@SimonLaskey) reported@andyward1964 @HSBC_UK Same issue.

Anthony Jones (@cardiijolliest) reported@HSBC_UK I have tried to log on to my business account but receive the message that the server is not available. Your website says that online banking is working normally. Is there a problem?
-
Nathan Bruce (@NJBruce29) reported@HSBC_UK online banking is so secure that I can't even access my own account. You need about 4 different passwords to log back in for them to tell you the automated service is closed until 8am. ******* useless.
-
Distrbution Alpha (@Dist_Alpha) reported@HSBC_UK 2hrs of phones calls, 1 of which waiting to speak to someone. 20 mins of online chat. And still, no one is able to explain why my business debit card is blocked or has unblocked it. Why should anyone have a business account with you with such shoddy service?
