-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@Jennaxgriffin @HSBC_UK I have iOS 15 dev beta 8 and it is working OK. What version do you have?
-
Joey (@joey_geoloog) reported from Roxton, England@HSBC_UK Hi Avril Thanks but the voice prompts on the phone say otherwise, it advises to log in online. Can you check the screenshots in my original tweet and pass this onto someone who can fix it? Thanks
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2
-
Lesley Thompson (@dolcevitatoo) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK total frustration in lack of understanding in customer service this evening!
-
Michael Pastor (@ProfMykie) reported from Cambridgeshire, EnglandI can't imagine how inefficient it was. I was waiting for 10 (they told 5-7) days to set up an account only to find out that they cannot locate my documents. Too much of a hassle @HSBC_UK Such a bad customer service.
-
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

Richard Vernalls (@rvernallsPA) reported@JaneRockHouse @Apple @HSBC_UK Sorry to hear this Jane, sounds awful, and soul-destroying when companies are failing to protect consumers. I’m not sure if it would have assisted, in this case, but I would advise use of the SIM PIN (“Settings” -> ”MobileData” -> “SIM PIN”) as an extra layer of security.

Chlo Wilks (@ChiaraChloe08) reported@HSBC_UK mobile app not working?

Nomad (@_londontrader_) reported@HSBC_UK crap service
-
Richard Harrington 🗿 (@1988Harrington) reported@alanbullion2 @Barclays @HSBC_UK Maybe not even the town hall (I'd rather see start ups given space at just over cost to help them). Plenty of current banks which could be used. However, I'd rather see this in villages rather than big towns. It's the villages which are suffering now from closures.
-
Anabel Castillo (@ACastilloBast) reported@HSBC_UK there is no way to do a live chat without your app and i desperately need help in reestablishing access to My account. Any assistance would be appreciated.
-
Anna (@annacjone5) reported@HSBC_UK got my phone fixed & now I can't log in to the mobile banking app. It says 'Unable to send activation code'. Rang up on the 18th and gave my phone number but it never changed. Will the code be texted to me? And how long will it take? Need to pay rent soon!
-
Ad (@Sidaway_) reported@HSBC_UK think your service is second to none, the app is brilliant, and being able to update my phone number within minutes is a game changer. 👌🏼
