@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

@HSBC_UK @ilovepreserves Et tu HSBC? Anyone reading this should ask themselves why this particular hill, the pronoun badges for equality and inclusion hill, is the one that large corporate entities are willing to lay down their tweets? Not for equal pay, not for disability access, but for this?

  • robertsessford1 Great Uncle Bob (@robertsessford1) reported

@HSBC_UK Why have you lot of jumped up idiots trying to ram peoples private lives down our throats, we don't care

  • TootHillMedley Lois Addy (@TootHillMedley) reported

@HSBC_UK What's really vital in a workplace is customers, to provide income and profits. I'm convinced it's possible to be both inclusive and equality based without bias and without alienating the customer base. no?

  • TeamD_D_E_ DRJK (@TeamD_D_E_) reported

@HSBC_UK hello. I had my account opened I think on the 23rd June but am still@waiting for my 6-10 digit number to be able to use online banking. I’ve had my card and PIN but can’t view my account yet. Can you help?

  • alan_garratt Alan (@alan_garratt) reported

@suepascoe001 @HSBC_UK @christineburns It’s not the badge that’s the problem, it’s the obnoxious telling people of what ‘matters’ when they’re a bank.

  • 72FFR AWAW (@72FFR) reported

@HSBC_UK Hang on at least Halifax told customers to **** off if they didn’t like their stupid pronoun badges. You’re just trying to get a @stonewalluk pat on the head but you haven’t done anything apart from tweet. You’re no Halifax.

  • s_maczkowski stef ◣ ◢ (@s_maczkowski) reported

@HSBC @HSBC_UK your fraud detection algos are bad. I'm blocked again from making a genuine transaction on a reputable site. And I have to call each time to unblock as can't get texts or in app notifications to work for me. Please sort it out.

  • ilyaasyasin Ilyas Hassan (@ilyaasyasin) reported

@HSBC_UK I tried to make section 75 claim but your agents would only make the claim for £1947 which i paid using my credit card rather than the total cost of £8947 due to their lack of understanding of section 75 consumer credit act. Could you please help. Thank you

  • chriscolin100 Chris (@chriscolin100) reported

@AdiDee_Gee @HSBC_UK Only a five-year-old would have trouble working out the difference between a man and a woman. The rest is just virtual signaling claptrap from marketing teams with nothing to do.

@Ruthycpr @apwyatt @HSBC_UK Some people have issues with LGB people, or people of colour, or disabled people. Should we let those bigots dictate what everyone else is allowed to do?
