@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

I can't imagine how inefficient it was. I was waiting for 10 (they told 5-7) days to set up an account only to find out that they cannot locate my documents. Too much of a hassle @HSBC_UK Such a bad customer service.

@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

@HSBC_UK My bank can't d anything for me, it's down 2 me 2 budget my money even more, 2 cut back on everything 2 make huge scarfices pay bills first & what's left has 2 last till next pay day & not spend beyond my means, not waste money on things I don't need & it's tough but can b done

Currently on hold with @HSBC_UK for 45 minutes and counting. I did get through to someone only to be told they can't help and then was transfered somewhere else. Now on hold again with no end in sight. Not good enough when money has been transfered out of my account with notice

@HSBC_UK I am with HSBCs internet arm, First Direct, due to my wife's insistence. When we have asked for help from them it's been rejected every time. Now I'm in a stable secure job, they continually send spam emails advertising loans.

@HSBC_UK I have been on hold for 40mins now. What the hell is going on? All I need to do is move money between a credit and flex saver account and its not possible in the app or via live chat. Absolutely crap service. NEVER BANK WITH THEM
