HSBC Issues Reports Near Cambridgeshire, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Cambridgeshire and nearby locations:

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@Jennaxgriffin @HSBC_UK I have iOS 15 dev beta 8 and it is working OK. What version do you have?

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

@HSBC_UK Please help. It is regarding the entertainer offer (scam??). You have taken money from our account as “Cinema City” yet there is no @CostaCoffee e-voucher email and we have an error message “not allowed to access this application” for the official app.

  • Jamesdunn1989 James (@Jamesdunn1989) reported

@Sophiehearson15 @jo_josully @HSBC_UK I can’t get on at all, completely logged me out. Deleted the app, downloaded it again and still the same issue.

  • burto69 Rob Wilson (@burto69) reported

@HSBC_UK been on hold for over an hour now. Terrible service. Just want to make an appointment at a branch

  • karenmclarke1 Karen Clarke (@karenmclarke1) reported

@HSBC_UK trying to reinstate an ISA account that you closed without notifying me. So far taken 8 working days, yet should be done within 2 days. Your excuse is that you have a backlog. Why don’t you employ more staff and they can answer the phones as well!
