@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

  • diegor
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

  • dolcevitatoo
Lesley Thompson (@dolcevitatoo) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK total frustration in lack of understanding in customer service this evening!

  • diegor
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

  • diegor
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@Jennaxgriffin @HSBC_UK I have iOS 15 dev beta 8 and it is working OK. What version do you have?

  • ProfMykie
Michael Pastor (@ProfMykie) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

I can't imagine how inefficient it was. I was waiting for 10 (they told 5-7) days to set up an account only to find out that they cannot locate my documents. Too much of a hassle @HSBC_UK Such a bad customer service.

  • diegor
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

  • diegor
Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.

  • timhuckle
    Tim Huckle (@timhuckle) reported

HSBC Apple Pay. Possibly all(?) HSBC UK customers have woken to an email from them confirming registration of their card on to Apple Pay. Contact centre on +30 minute wait times as concerned customers phone in. I’m told the comms were sent in error. @HSBC_UK

@LloydsBank That is the whole point, you are not getting that I am unable to login and to complain as well I have to login. I called thrice to your support and everytime I have been told different things. You people are really living in stoneage. Same thing @HSBC_UK updates in 20 sec

  • joachimnicolas
    Joachim (@joachimnicolas) reported

The only way to do it is to twig that this is the bug, and then enter the date BACKWARDS, starting with the year. @HSBC_UK either fix it or hire me to fix it. I'm not even a JS developer and I could do better than this.

  • alex_goteam
Alex De La Garza (@alex_goteam) reported

@HSBC @HSBC_UK please do the right thing and help Penny with her account!

@NaomiLWood @HSBC_UK That is so annoying. Had a similar problem recently. The frustration is so real and practically physical as one gets more and more stressed. Good luck.

@bp_UK why do you have to hold £150 AS WELL as the amount used ffs. @HSBC_UK just for a bit of fuel. Its been days and no access to my money this has to stop

  • TheDevilsDev
    Sir FAFO (@TheDevilsDev) reported

@HSBC @HSBC_UK at it again, just had a cancelled subscription taken from my "frozen/locked" card. Absolute piece of **** of a bank, and support even said they weren't authorised.

@simonhall1974 @HSBC_UK I had the same issue. A tweet remains unanswered and the promised call back within 5 working days is now 7 days and counting.
