HSBC Issues Reports Near Cambridgeshire, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Cambridgeshire and nearby locations:

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@Jennaxgriffin @HSBC_UK I have iOS 15 dev beta 8 and it is working OK. What version do you have?

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

  • dolcevitatoo Lesley Thompson (@dolcevitatoo) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK total frustration in lack of understanding in customer service this evening!

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

HSBC Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • marcell_pek marcell (@marcell_pek) reported

@HSBC_UK @Markleshark I am not suggesting anyone here has the power to fix this, but blaming this on "the beta breaking the app" is misleading and suggesting downgrading is kind of funny. It's also a moot point as all of your competitors have apps that beta testers can use on their phones perfectly.

  • jimmymasinclair Jimmy Sinclair (@jimmymasinclair) reported

@GrasslandFund @CNBC They still need tighter controls, criminals still reign at @HSBC_UK and well guarded by the customer service reps.

  • jessicalls93 Jessicashermer93@yahoo.com (@jessicalls93) reported

@HSBC_UK You froze my entire account on a Friday afternoon with no warning. Called so many times to be told there is no one to talk to about this until at least Mon. All of my money I have in the world is with you and I cant access a penny of it.Won't tell me why even! So anxious

  • GrasslandFund Grassland Capital (@GrasslandFund) reported

@jimmymasinclair @CNBC @HSBC_UK I guess the problem is when its light and still no one cares...

  • SheilaHawkinsFM Sheila Hawkins (@SheilaHawkinsFM) reported

@laurichmeadows @HSBC_UK I had problems with @HSBC_UK and made a complaint which resolved it quite quickly

  • simonlevans simon le vans 💙 (@simonlevans) reported

@HSBC_UK I’m talking about your phone service. Why on earth it is not 24 hours?

  • jimmymasinclair Jimmy Sinclair (@jimmymasinclair) reported

@kyri_ @HSBC_UK They are not customer-centric they are money-centric, yet they need customers to get the money. But they are more interested in the big fish, drug lords and cartels who have millions readily available.

  • BitMekon Coinholio (@BitMekon) reported

    @HSBC_UK @Stonewallhousin As a fact-checker I'll mark this down as FALSE.

  • marcell_pek marcell (@marcell_pek) reported

@HSBC_UK @Markleshark Your app doesn't work because you chose to disable it on beta versions. Apps w/o an update for months work fine. Of 7 banks across 3 countries, your app is the only one that doesn't launch on iOS 15. Yes, you can choose not to support betas but your competitors all do.

  • jimmymasinclair Jimmy Sinclair (@jimmymasinclair) reported

@DionJames3 @HSBC_UK Call centers are there to do one thing keep you from reaching @HSBC_UK, frustrate the process and leave customer issues unresolved. Its in their blood!
