@Jennaxgriffin @HSBC_UK I have iOS 15 dev beta 8 and it is working OK. What version do you have?

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

  • dolcevitatoo Lesley Thompson (@dolcevitatoo) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK total frustration in lack of understanding in customer service this evening!

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.

@HSBC_UK how can you operate a good service when you are told that to upgrade an account its going to be one and half hour average hold time plus similar to process the application!?! 3hrs is not good service.

  • strangetimes00 The Common Sense Guy (@strangetimes00) reported

@HSBC_UK Appalling customer service in York branch today. Went in to make large payment at 315. Sorry there's 3 people waiting and we close at 430, come back tomorrow (after special trip)! What business closes at 430 and doesn't open until 930. So, you're part time now?

  • pdcawley Piers Cawley (@pdcawley) reported

@HSBC_UK Believe me, if she could log on to the website, she would have done. The only time someone uses the phone service is when they're desperate… being reminded how much easier it could be if only you weren't desperate.

  • IrvSophie Sophie Irv (@IrvSophie) reported

@HSBC_UK Am I able to go into a branch to dispute a payment in person? I’m struggling immensely to do with via the customer service line and I’m getting nowhere. They also told methey couldn’t dispute until 120 AFTER the payment, which is not correct? Thanks

  • Stevebowes3 Stevebowes (@Stevebowes3) reported

@HSBC_UK I have issues with fraudulent use of a debit card and have so far spent 4 hours trying to resolve the issue with 5 different staff. Do @HSBC_UK even care about fraud ? I think not !

  • FEJ29 Frances McKellar 💙 (@FEJ29) reported

Awful service from @HSBC_UK went into to branch to update my name on my accounts, had to sit there for half an hour while systems updated, then had to chase new credit card as not rec’d to find out credit card not updated or new one requested I have to call them to look into it

  • KerrNFL D (@KerrNFL) reported

@HSBC_UK Thanks Saj, is there any way to know if the coin deposit in Newbury is working? No other branch nearby has one!

  • rgarner Russell Garner (@rgarner) reported

Honestly @HSBC_UK, I don't know how much more painful you could make paying a new payee. There are two forces at tension here; 1. you're paying a large amount of money and want to check the deets, and 2. your JWTs expire in about a nanosecond and make it the user's problem

  • aimi0308 Aimi Alcock (@aimi0308) reported

@HSBC_UK Appalling service trying to switch to you! 2 of us have now spent over 6 hours on the phone to you! You haven't even given us the account we applied for to get the £170 for switching! Might aswell of stayed with our original bank!

  • Nathan04117131 Nathan (@Nathan04117131) reported

@HSBC_UK Hi Jack, All you keep saying is this is not HSBCs problem - I believe this is HSBCs problem as they were the team who misinformed me. You have also stated that only customers can complain - this is factually incorrect and against FCA guidelines.
