Asking for something to be sorted, but get told, it should be processed soon, but I don't have the authority to do it here. This happened last year trying to set up a student account too.

Joe Langley (@langlineer) reported@HSBC_UK I’m a long term customer and I’ll be switching to another bank soon. Your customer service has gone off a cliff. Your phone messages state things can be done online that can’t. Some things only in branch, but can’t get a branch appt for months.

I can’t do anything on my phone until I’ve unlocked it either with FaceID or my passcode. How did the thieves bypass that?

Plenty of current banks which could be used. However, I'd rather see this in villages rather than big towns. It's the villages which are suffering now from closures.

What's the procedure to chase this us. @firstdirecthelp are no help and said contact you. can't get past your help bot as I don't have a HSBC account.
