@HSBC_UK your customer service is awful. Asking for something to be sorted, but get told, it should be processed soon, but I don't have the authority to do it here. This happened last year trying to set up a student account too.

@HSBC_UK the worst customer experience of any supplier I’ve ever used. Security requirements for kids login impossible to manage, unfriendly call staff, endless call waits, banks only open weekdays and in school hours. It’s like you’re trying to make customers lives harder

@HSBC_UK @Bring_Sunshine I have a similar situation. Website says don't call instead chat. Get onto chat they say call. Total shambles. Either way hours of wait. Chat is clearly saying whatever you want to hear to get rid of you.

Just an idea, @HSBC_UK, but maybe make an announcement saying your online banking app is down, rather than telling everyone who tweets you, to contact your jammed phone lines?
