@HSBC_UK your customer service is awful. Asking for something to be sorted, but get told, it should be processed soon, but I don't have the authority to do it here. This happened last year trying to set up a student account too.

Not telling the truth just seems to be the norm now. Bank website says can open in branch, online or on the phone. Go in branch and no can't do it. So alter your website @HSBC_UK

@HSBC_UK Yes, it was weird. Couldn’t scroll down, page was at 100%. Suspect if I’d fired it up in Chrome it would have been fine but didn’t want to redo log-in shenanigans. Tried reloading/going back. Guessed other buttons meant to be there so hovered around until I found the alt-text.
