@HSBC_UK your customer service is awful. Asking for something to be sorted, but get told, it should be processed soon, but I don't have the authority to do it here. This happened last year trying to set up a student account too.

@HSBC_UK after 35 years as a customer I’m leaving HSBC. For the first 30 years it was fine. But since then, I’ve been lied to by staff, had awful service, you’ve compromised my privacy and changed from a trusted partner to something I can’t wait to be rid of. Hello Barclays.

@YenJun81 @HSBC_UK Still happening today. @HSBC_UK hopeless customer service. 2hrs waiting and then i got hung up on immediately. Business Banking Team have absolutely no way of escalating issue internally... just tell me i have to ring the same number again and join the back of the queue. Shambles

Dear @HSBC_UK, a gentle reminder that an apostrophe is a perfectly acceptable character in a person’s name. Your app doesn’t allow making payments to large numbers of Irish people (and others) without triggering a warning. Any chance you could fix?
