@HSBC_UK your customer service is awful. Asking for something to be sorted, but get told, it should be processed soon, but I don't have the authority to do it here. This happened last year trying to set up a student account too.

@Eastreadingcom @HSBC_UK I'm not a customer but I noticed the signage as I went by. While I was taking the photo at least 3 groups of people were intending to go in the branch and were not impressed when they found it was closed.

@HSBC_UK oh dear, been some time that I have needed to use a branch for banking. City branch on Queen Victoria Street like an empty museum. Trying to pay in a cheque, tried 4 machines, all rejected, no queuing at the counter service - painful and time-consuming 😩

@HSBC_UK I wouldn't mind using a phone app as a 3rd factor for 3FA, but replacing an air-gapped physical token (w/ challenge-response support no less!) w/ a mobile app based 2nd factor for 2FA is in fact a downgrade from a pure security standpoint & I find being told otherwise patronising

@HSBC_UK 18 minutes on call with your money management team. At least 12 on hold while he ‘finds my income & expend’ form. The first 5 minutes were a ‘slow system’. I’m losing the will here with you guys. Your complaints team are just as unhelpful.

@HSBC_UK Ok. I’ll give it a try although it’s worth stressing that 03457 662255 is the number I have been ringing and getting nowhere. So unless you can reassure me that the problems have been resolved on that number it’s not really worth the time, effort and expense to use that again.

@HSBC_UK hi I'm writing to complain about the shocking customer service I recieved in the Coleraine branch today. I went in to use the ATM bc the one on the street outside is almost always out of order (1)

@HSBC_UK ...I would *really* prefer to not have to choose between "having access to app-based banking" and "having a security token that doesn't need charging at least once a day to keep working".

@HSBC_UK Hi Saffron, I’ve just completed my call. 1hr and 15 minutes. As mentioned in my replies, I’m certain the agent was texting during my call. Which is a huge concern as he had access to my personal information at the time.
