Lindsey Sylvester 👩🏫 (@MissSylvester77) reported from Burnham-on-Sea, England@HSBC_UK your customer service is awful. Asking for something to be sorted, but get told, it should be processed soon, but I don't have the authority to do it here. This happened last year trying to set up a student account too.

Eddie Cussen (@EddieCussen) reported@ShaistaGohir @HalifaxBank @HSBC_UK I imagine that Halifax staff are addressed using pronouns on a daily basis by colleagues and customers. Is there any way that doesn't happen ? They can now choose (it's an optional scheme) to put the pronoun on their namebadge. Can you explain what the problem is with this?
-
Skuttle The Coffee Goblin (@CoffeeSkuttle) reported@HSBC_UK The genuinely funniest thing to me in the responses is a lot of people confused at what HR departments do. Like, imagine being this angry at name tags that help people and pointing at things other departments do to "own them". Really support this easy and supportive move.

Menopausasaurus Rex🦕🦖 (@Joxytales) reported@HSBC_UK Can i be myself as a customer?
-
Iain Dooley (@iainpdooley) reported@HSBC_UK My pleasure! I ditched your branches this year for more flexible Post Offices after being messed around by your declining service. Longer opening hours, including Saturdays you no longer cover, and a counter service that's been removed from 2 of my 3 local HSBC branches. D minus.

Price Lies Путин сосет коз (@Tom_Seagul) reported@HSBC_UK Anyway I’ve recently cleared my mortgage with yourselves, have five figure savings account with you and been customer since 1970s. How do I close my account and transfer my business to a virtue signalling free competitor?
-
Lois Addy (@TootHillMedley) reported@heyheyde @HSBC_UK @stonewall I would imagine to manage their image to make them as customer friendly as possible. At least initially...
-
Lois Addy (@TootHillMedley) reported@sarinhamac @HSBC_UK Ah no, you have missed the point. I support a voluntary pronoun badge (so long as it is truly optional). What I do not support is a business with a rap sheet of unethical behaviour pretending that their bias in favour of a particular set of ideas is the moral high ground.
-
Paul Goodwin (@double_drax) reported@HSBC_UK Of course you support their view that people who disagree with pronouns should go elsewhere

FredT!tmus (@FredT1tmus) reported@HSBC_UK My boss pays me to take care of the company’s financial affairs. ‘Being myself’ is for when I’m not there. Show some professionalism. My wife’s moving her account away from you because you’re a terrible bank. Maybe raise standards by employing people who don’t care about pronouns
