Asking for something to be sorted, but get told, it should be processed soon, but I don't have the authority to do it here. This happened last year trying to set up a student account too.

I was tipped off a being a fraudster in both calls. & was told to 'just borrow' money when i raised concerns about how I can pay for petrol to get to the branch. Any help, plz?

It’s awful!HSBC had one of the best and brand consistent card designs globally (HSBC lion design), but has dropped this in favour of a boring, “accessible”, vertical design that can’t be identified easily in a standard wallet!
