@HSBC_UK your customer service is awful. Asking for something to be sorted, but get told, it should be processed soon, but I don't have the authority to do it here. This happened last year trying to set up a student account too.

@HSBC_UK I want to order a new cheque book. I have tried phoning and tried online chat. I have reached a blank, just a message to contact you on Twitter or FB. Please can somebody help me?

@HSBC_UK Your call centre staff are extremely frustrating. Trying to reset my password, and they keep asking for information which is only available to me if I have access to my accounts! 'can you tell me this?', 'no, its on my statement, which i cant access'. Madness.

And all I have seen is @HSBC_UK telling people to revert their operating systems to iOS 14 which is a very difficult process and not good customer service. Get your arses in gear and spend a tiny percentage of your revenues on your customers' user experience. It is unacceptable!!

@HSBC_UK @Stonewallhousin So in other words 76% of homeless people are straight but **** them?

@Harshbutfairy @HSBC_UK @Stonewallhousin This is a targeted advert where Stonewall are helping raise awareness for people that rely on them for advice. In the same way that Shelter are doing it to help other homeless people - what is your problem???

Absolutely shocking that @HSBC_UK has no plans to update their app to iOS 15, 'for security concerns' when they operate in mainland China, and every other major UK bank has updated their apps to offer support to customers. This is why I use @Monzo for nearly everything now!!!

@Harshbutfairy @HSBC_UK @Stonewallhousin Where did it say they were housing anyone? They’re giving people an opportunity to open a bank account even if they don’t have a fixed address, how can you possibly manage to find a problem with that???

@TheFCA You need to have a more rigorous monitoring of the banking systems, banks like @HSBC_UK are still manipulating the system because of 1) how slow your organization acts 2) likely to get away with it. @financialombuds is not better either.

D'yer ever get the feeling banks make it impossible for you to resolve issues? @HSBC_UK used to have really efficient customer service - now it's an obstacle course. No doubt, the usual well worn excuse of "Covid" will be trotted out, but that shouldn't affect "chat services" 1/
