@HSBC_UK Hi. Visited our local HSBC (who arranged our mortgage ) to ask a couple of questions and discuss a change. Was told that nobody can help in branch now and that everything must be done online (or on the phone where we just get left on hold for ages). Doesn’t seem right!

@HSBC_UK My local branch is closing and the odd time that I must pay in a cheque at the post office I need a paying in slip. I can't order them online, I can't print one off and the only way to get one is to get in the queue for the chat line but, wait, the chat line is broken.

@HSBC_UK No need. It's not really a security concern to answer if there is a server error? And it really doesn't require I answer privacy questions. Unnecessary collection of private information is against GDPR... And that DM feels unnecessary.

@HSBC_UK Hello. Thanks, but I'm not in the UK and so I can't phone. The message on your website also said there's long waiting times so I'm not going to sit on a phone and ring up a big phone bill. I can't log in to my app or desktop so that I can live chat.

Hi @StarlingBank unfortunately I can't make any payments to you today because @HSBC_UK has implemented a new faulty service and I'm locked out of my account, and they can't seem to fix it or resolve the issue today. Shocking service @financialombuds
