@HSBC_UK Hi. Visited our local HSBC (who arranged our mortgage ) to ask a couple of questions and discuss a change. Was told that nobody can help in branch now and that everything must be done online (or on the phone where we just get left on hold for ages). Doesn’t seem right!

@HSBC_UK I’ve been advised there are no alternatives other than waiting 4-8 weeks for a response to my complaint that I was told was being investigated on 17th Nov & to wait 10 working days for a response. I’ve asked for my account to be closed & already have a new one with Virgin!

@HSBC_UK @HSBC HSBC is a nuisance. My pos transaction gets declined even before I cld enter my pin. Support tells me pin was blocked. I ask them for the reason but instead they tell me how it can be unblocked. My money and I cannot spend it. Time to switch bank accounts.

@AskNationwide Hello Nationwide. I am an existing mortgage customer. I want to find out how I can switch my HSBC account to Nationwide. HSBC has barred me too many times from using my own money for stupid reasons. I hope Nationwide would be more customer friendly. @HSBC_UK @HSBC

@HSBC_UK I have already provided details to Nicole but no explanation so far. All she said was that she has seen that I contacted customer support and that they would have assisted me. This is not the case however. Customer support did not explain WHY my card was declined.

@HSBC_UK working hard eh. You place a block on my account, i ring telephone banking but you close at 8pm. Online chat directs me to fraud dept. Wait 30mins to get answered to be told theres no block, yet i try the transaction whilst your staff are on the line and it comes up as.
