    @HSBC_UK Hi. Visited our local HSBC (who arranged our mortgage ) to ask a couple of questions and discuss a change. Was told that nobody can help in branch now and that everything must be done online (or on the phone where we just get left on hold for ages). Doesn’t seem right!

    @paullewismoney @HSBC_UK I have stood in a queue in most banks for work reasons this last year, and watched staff whose sole purpose is to tell customers they can't help, other than point them to a phone or go through the hideous process of rebooting their tablet. And make themselves unemployed.

    @HSBC_UK please help. my son has lost his mobile phone with bank card in it. he can't log in to online banking as it requires a digital secure key password generated by the phone he doesn't have. i tried calling but that requires details of the card we don't have. what next?

    Not sure how @HSBC_UK could make something so complicated..was on the app and decide I wanted to open a savings account…can’t do this on the app so it directs you to the website. Tried to log on to website with secure code generated and for some reason it doesn’t allow me to do

    @HSBC_UK any comments on why it's impossible to pay money in at your newcastle under lyme branch. Closed twice thr week before Christmas when I visited Today finally caught the branch open. And you can't manually accept cash deposits

    @HSBC_UK worst service EVER when trying to open a new account in the Sunderland branch today. The girl was aggressive, refused to serve me, offered no alternative appointment & the branch was open for another 2 and a half hours.

    @HSBC_UK will I be able to access/log into the banking app when abroad? I know some apps won't allow you to use them when not in the UK. Thank you

    @paullewismoney @HSBC_UK My local branch of HSBC was no help anyway. The answer to my pleas for help were either 'do it online' or 'we don't do this it's HQ'. When they started charging small charities £5 a month I switched to a building society

    @HSBC_UK I’ve been advised there are no alternatives other than waiting 4-8 weeks for a response to my complaint that I was told was being investigated on 17th Nov & to wait 10 working days for a response. I’ve asked for my account to be closed & already have a new one with Virgin!
