@HSBC_UK Hi. Visited our local HSBC (who arranged our mortgage ) to ask a couple of questions and discuss a change. Was told that nobody can help in branch now and that everything must be done online (or on the phone where we just get left on hold for ages). Doesn’t seem right!

@HSBC_UK It's been resolved. Someone sent my post back and you froze accounts. However please why is it so hard in customer service to communicate with customers ?

  • BigThickSlices Adrian (@BigThickSlices) reported

@HSBC_UK You’re having to bribe new current account customers with £170 to join your bank. We already have laws protecting people’s immutable characteristics, especially at work. Perhaps you should focus on service delivery and grow your customer base that way? Just a thought.

  • ZippyUK31 Zippyuk (@ZippyUK31) reported

@HSBC_UK Yes, the problem I find not just with HSBC is for customer service roles, there is no communication which is made up of the awareness wheel, and I have noticed since I was 13 years old that companies are not fully utilizing this. Why ask for a mobile or email if you don't use it?
