Mark Notton (@markn3567) reported from Lowestoft, England@HSBC_UK Hi. Visited our local HSBC (who arranged our mortgage ) to ask a couple of questions and discuss a change. Was told that nobody can help in branch now and that everything must be done online (or on the phone where we just get left on hold for ages). Doesn’t seem right!

Awenaio (@awenaio) reported@HSBC_UK HSBC has locked my account. Their customer services will not put me through to an agent. Their chat is incapable of helping with the problem. It means I have no access to my account, either online or by app. This can only be fraud. You cannot report fraud because the customer services number will not put you through to an agent. This is disgraceful.

Stevie (@StevieeeWx) reported@Peter_Croden @HSBC_UK I am mate yes. Unreal. Not been able to access business funds since yesterday!!!
-
Melissa Chester (@AhsUBCunyRccc) reported@dawniedavidson @HSBC_UK We had that here at the bank I work in-changed software, causing customers to have to learn new online banking, statements, etc. It caused some chaos for sure, esp for our older friends, but a little good customer service does wonders. #proudofmybank

Priya Samuel (@PriyaSamuel1) reported@HSBC_UK your service is rubbish. Can only apply for an ISA by mobile phone app or going into a branch. This service should be accessible through online banking and phone banking. Useless bearing in mind number of branches closed

TheDiggers (@TheDiggers4) reported@Peter_Croden @HSBC_UK Same. Must be a glitch of some sort. Good to know it's not just me.

@BigBaggie20AM3D (@BigBaggie20AM3D) reported@CleansedTweets @HSBC_UK What happened to your money in the account? How do you access it now to move it to a new bank?

Ritesh Mishra🇮🇳 (@niks_nke) reportedWorst experience with HSBC Bank. @HSBC_IN @HSBC @HSBC_UK Extremely unprofessional handling of customer concerns. Instead of resolving the issue, the team seems to be relying on delaying tactics and providing no meaningful response. Very disappointing. #HSBC #CustomerService

victoria clark (@vickic1984) reported@HSBC_UK disgusting service. I made you aware my father had passed away 6 weeks ago and took a copy of his death certificate to the branch. My Mum has had 6 phone calls in two weeks from HSBC asking to speak to my dad. What is your vulnerable customer policy?

Mahen (@MahendraJasraj) reportedTwo people. One joint @HSBC @HSBC_UK account. Same address. Same finances. Yet I’m often delayed and restricted to manage my account while my English partner isn’t. After 10+ years as a customer, I’m left wondering: what explains the difference? #banking #uk #money
