HSBC Issues Reports Near Ely, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Ely and nearby locations:

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@Jennaxgriffin @HSBC_UK I have iOS 15 dev beta 8 and it is working OK. What version do you have?

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @Jennaxgriffin The exact timescale is now. There is a new update on the App Store (2.39.4) which fixes the iOS 15 access.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK There are many solutions to tackle this and you are taking none. A beta channel for the app using TestFlight, feature toggle on the code base, 2 different apps (not ideal), etc… You chose to break iOS support. As customer I’m actually worried, as i feel my money are not so safe.

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK Your solutions are “downgrade” which is quite disruptive or “use the physical access key” which will invalidate the app in the future, both not acceptable. It’s not a matter of accommodating, you are not doing us a favour, but it’s your own. 1/2

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK This raises a bigger issue which is about the quality of your app. If you cannot maintain compatibility for 2 iOS versions, then you have a big problem of code maintainability. And this is going to bite you in the future, again. 2/2 (I have a third message as well)

  • diegor Diego Russo (@diegor) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@HSBC_UK @iPoof “Next few weeks” are we joking?!? This is utterly ridiculous! iOS15 will be likely to be released very soon and “next few weeks” is not acceptable at all. You had 3 months to find a permanent fix for iOS15 and this is why the beta program is for.

  • Zazizuza Zazizuza (@Zazizuza) reported

@HSBC_UK I love these positive messages on your tweet! You support homeless. Are they going to face your useless customer service just like we do? It is impossible to resolve issues having a phone, how will they do without? Yet another cheap publicity shot!

  • kevkop2014 Kevin knollman (@kevkop2014) reported

@HSBC_UK so I go to pay money off a credit card but you don't allow that service how stupid for a business not to have such a simple service will be moving to a proper bank after this #amateurs

  • Boo3Becky Becky Graham (@Boo3Becky) reported

@HSBC_UK I urgently need to speak to someone in the UK regarding an outstanding PPI claim. I am no longer a customer so have been passed to 6 different numbers and no one can help. My experience so far with your customer service is terrible. Please can someone contact me ASAP!

  • Billygraham1969 Billyg1969 (@Billygraham1969) reported

@Coogiebear25 @HSBC_UK @Stonewallhousin You put that their like I'd agree with that ****? They're fking morons just like the fkers I posted above

  • Benton1Benton Jamie Benton (@Benton1Benton) reported

@HSBC_UK You must be the worst bank for solving problems on your behalf

  • duo194 Joseph Hague (@duo194) reported

@HSBC_UK @Stonewallhousin It’s not good enough to just be homeless now to get help…

  • EmJEast Emma Hartshorn (@EmJEast) reported

@HSBC_UK terrible service....4 days of being passed from person to person and still no help. Will be changing my bank after 25 years.

  • N_A_Barnes Nicholas Barnes (@N_A_Barnes) reported

The easy solutions? 1 - Publish a callback number. When you call somebody, tell them to find this callback number for themselves by going to the @HSBC_UK website and then give them a code to dial in. Transfer the call directly to the right department/team/person.

  • Schmisse Annaliese Ø'Malley (@Schmisse) reported

@HSBC_UK @Stonewallhousin What about the other 76% of homeless people, don't they matter? Why not support homelessness overall? This is just an ad campaign attempting to hoover up the pink pound.

  • Pink1_z nanny (@Pink1_z) reported

@context_outside @HSBC_UK @Stonewallhousin If they were gay, then they'll be sorted out without a problem according to HSBC.
