Then I had to hang around the forecourt for an hour to get through HSBC customer services to unblock my card. Rant done! 🤬

My finances are in good shape so no reason for it other than my industry I assume. Monzo also closed my business account. So I’d avoid them too. I’ve never had issues with high street banks so far

🆁 (@CapitalR) reportedLast night someone in Turkey attempted to fraudulently use my credit card. I only used it for the hotel and flights for the Fenerbahçe away game. I didn’t use it in Istanbul at all 🤔 Unbelievably @HSBC_UK didn’t want me to cancel my credit card - i had to demand it. WTF? 😳

Joachim (@joachimnicolas) reportedThe only way to do it is to twig that this is the bug, and then enter the date BACKWARDS, starting with the year. @HSBC_UK either fix it or hire me to fix it. I'm not even a JS developer and I could do better than this.
