@sazcass @HSBC_UK Had similar problems with Nationwide over the years. Worst case, I had to ask my interpreter to pretend to be me as just couldn’t be arsed to go to the bank. Went smoothly on the phone & they didn’t notice interpreter was female which is shocking really 😳

@HSBC_UK No you need to put clear guidance in the public domain to help all your customers, maybe that way you will reduce pressure on your call centres and chat services and reduce the disgraceful wait times your customers currently face.

@sazcass @HSBC_UK @firstdirect and a staff member then rang First Direct to go through the security with me there. Was a real pain but everything I have done since has been conducted via chat and messages with no issues whatsoever 👍

Wasted 5 hours (and counting) of my day on hold to huge corporations (Microsoft and in particular @HSBC_UK who are absolutely dreadful). Still hiding behind Covid, still clearly working at home and as a result absolutely appalling customer care.
