Tonight I’d like to thank @Morrisons and @HSBC_UK for ruining my evening! Issues with paying at petrol pump led to my card being declined. Then I had to hang around the forecourt for an hour to get through HSBC customer services to unblock my card. Rant done! 🤬

@HSBC_UK I don’t live inUK but have been a customer since 1964. My new debit card arrived but I could not use it as my PIN was not recognised. Several long phone calls later I was told that I had to use the in a UK ATM first. I am now in UK but the card still does not work.

@HSBC_UK so u drop the password to stop confusion and think a smaller simpler pin will help people.. A brute force (I realise its not so simple) will take 9 seconds to crack a 6 digit pin number, but a 10 digit password with numbers letters symbols and caps will take 8 months..
