Tonight I’d like to thank @Morrisons and @HSBC_UK for ruining my evening! Issues with paying at petrol pump led to my card being declined. Then I had to hang around the forecourt for an hour to get through HSBC customer services to unblock my card. Rant done! 🤬

@HSBC_UK Wow, my leap of faith was pretty short-lived yesterday afternoon. Why do u offer all these marvellous tools and platforms when u can't keep up. HSBC used to be one of the best bank's in the UK, NOT SO MUCH anymore. Your "service" sucks, HSBC Bank. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING!!

@HSBC_UK Your thousand and one apologies and complaint forms mean absolutely NOTHING. How can it take HSBC six weeks or more to resolve an error made on your side? Your service and inaction will result in our moving funds out of HSBC Bank the moment u finally resolve this issue. APPALLED.

2/4 @HSBC_UK was penalised £63 million for similar issues. @StanChart was fined £46 million for failings in reporting and internal controls. TTF believes that fining large corporations isn’t enough to drive the change in conduct that is so desperately needed....

@HSBC_UK That doesn’t help. The credit card agreement requires me to authenticate with my mobile number before I can sign it. The number is wrong and I’ve phoned up 3 times to have it changed. I don’t have an HSBC account.
