@HSBC_UK Given you are one of the largest financial organisations in the world, waiting 25 mins on your “customer care” line is atrocious. No wonder people are flocking to Monzo or Revolut.

@HSBC_UK been a customer under a week. Worst banking experience I’ve had. Not possible for me to get to a branch so I can’t use my card/activate it. Due to a fraud block being put on it already!! Never again #dontevenbother @HSBC @MartinSLewis #martinlewis

@HSBC_UK @Shelter Maybe help towards the cause of homelessness?!?!

  • WalWalt Mark Walter (@WalWalt) reported

@HSBC_UK Wouldn’t it be better to donate the £ to @Shelter rather than pay for an advert on tv? Self gratification corporate bull 💩 ! support this amazing charity but do it with decorum and for genuine reasons.

  • Tom_Burgess243 Tom Burgess (@Tom_Burgess243) reported

@HSBC_UK your customer service is terrible. After being told (as existing customers) we could open a joint account over the phone... to then be told we could only open a joint account in person, yet you have no available appointments in a bank within a 20 mile radius?!

  • Angry_Sian Angry Sian (@Angry_Sian) reported

Nice to see @HSBC_UK working with homelessness. I bought their redundancy insurance years ago & nearly became homeless when @avivaplc refused to pay out on it. Still paying off the debt from that.

  • kavsrn kavsrn (@kavsrn) reported

@HSBC_UK Yeah did that and was totally messed about for around 2 hours waiting and getting pushed from pillar to post. I've put a complaint in about your, at best, UNSATISFACTORY customer service. Utter garbage.

  • purmj Mark Purvis (@purmj) reported

I want to thank @HSBC_UK bereavement support for the efficient way you have managed my late stepfather’s account, verified my identity and arranged for the account to remain open for receipt of money.

@ChrisPenfold89 @HSBC_UK @Shelter Hi Chris, Thinking about the topic of this promotion, I'm interested to know how you think homeless people are going to access cryptocurrency (or indeed modern banking) if there is a high dependency on internet availability, which they typically don't have?
