If this is the official twitter account, why cant you afford to pay for a check mark?   @HSBC_UK @CleansedTweets lol @HSBC_UK you treated me like **** as well. I hope you get punished by the ombudsman and stop treating us expats like ****. Given the banks origins you should be the first choice bank for UK expats. Now you are a liability and will lose a lot of deposits

  @HSBC_UK got my phone fixed & now I can't log in to the mobile banking app. It says 'Unable to send activation code'. Rang up on the 18th and gave my phone number but it never changed. Will the code be texted to me? And how long will it take? Need to pay rent soon!

  @CleansedTweets @pchindle @HSBC_UK Both myself and my mother have uk bank accounts and they have our address in Spain,never an issue,it should be same situation for yourself, if you have a home address in uk again they shouldnt be closing your account,it’s not illegal to travel and be out of the country for years

  @HSBC_UK HSBC has locked my account. Their customer services will not put me through to an agent. Their chat is incapable of helping with the problem. It means I have no access to my account, either online or by app. This can only be fraud. You cannot report fraud because the customer services number will not put you through to an agent. This is disgraceful.

  Looking at the @Cashplus Twitter feed, it appears that I am not the only one struggling with this problem. For context, @HSBC_UK were able to unblocked my personal account immediately using my voice verfication. What stone aged process is at Cashplus is anyone's guess.
