@HSBC_UK Given you are one of the largest financial organisations in the world, waiting 25 mins on your “customer care” line is atrocious. No wonder people are flocking to Monzo or Revolut.

So there is a ‘fault’ with @HSBC_UK’s system where they randomly closed one of my accounts. Waited 2 months for it to be fixed. Escalated it with the complaints dept and they’ve tried multiple times to fix it but failed and they say they’ll email me my statements but haven’t.

Just spent over 20 mins waiting for @HSBC_UK to answer the phone re a security issue. Given up. Meanwhile they’re closing the local branch and don’t answer the phone. Putting profits ahead of customers. A cartel. Meanwhile @griffitha does nothing. #Banking

@HSBC_UK your service for people with Power of Attorney is a disgrace. Your failure to have even the simplest safeguarding features are leaving your most vulnerable customers exposed to near-constant fraud and scams. 3 hours on this call and you still can't help. Shameful.

@HSBC_UK I have received an email from you stating I have an inactive account that has money in it that has been frozen and that is over 3 years old. I have no access to mobile banking and am currently abroad with no UK number. I would like to close this account. Please help.

@HSBC_UK I have switched to you from Barclays. You took my money over a week ago.I have no access to it as have no online banking no. Helpline hung up on me. Tried to activate card in cashpoint & didn't work. You have my money & I can't access it. Am stressed & penniless.

@HSBC_UK hi your chat bot doesn't help with registering online and says I need to login. The issue is with registering so a bit difficult to get to a person. When registering saying can't as you need contact details. Does this mean a mobile number is needed for online banking?
