You literally have to argue with staff who try and force you to pay in via the deposit machine as it is.

Communication with customers is not fit for purpose and customers cannot tell if they are dealing with HSBC or a scam. A voluntary code for supporting victims is not worth the paper it is written on. It’s false advertising.
