@ermitjustis @HSBC_UK @firstdirect You’re kidding! All my cards (including HSBC ones) have now changed to this new style. Does that mean I can’t pay in ANY cash? Counter service seems to be a thing of the past.

Hi @HSBC_UK Been on the phone for almost 1.5 hours trying to get through to customer services and been cut off every single time whilst being transferred. This is so frustrating when counter services are being closed and online/telephone banking remain the only options

@firstdirecthelp moving to debit m/Card is a bad idea until you can offer the full service to pay cash in. You ever tried paying in cash at @HSBC_UK counter? You literally have to argue with staff who try and force you to pay in via the deposit machine as it is.

@HSBC_UK I haven't received mine withing 7 working days. I just called up and was told it can take 14 days... So still no access to my new account nearly 2 weeks after it was opened and guess what... My switch happened today... But can't even check that!!

@Kathy_CEO_CE @HSBC_UK I had the same experience, over 2 wks no access, given incorrect information & poor service, I was so stressed! Then they closed our local branch & have no cashiers in the branch close to where I live, so to get cash I have to travel 10 miles to a branch that closes at 3.30pm!

So after waiting since early June for @OPGGovUK to do their job and register the POA - I’m told by @HSBC_UK branch it will take “several weeks” to activate it on the donee’s bank account - by which time she will be in 🇨🇦. This is an appalling service for the vulnerable elderly!

Wasted my time and $$ ubering down to @HSBC_UK just to be told my application has been started and the manager conveniently left work early when I asked about my application. Had the manager been responsive to my emails, I wouldn’t have wasted my time. Anyways, run me my money

@Kathy_CEO_CE @cara_cinnamon @HSBC_UK So sorry you’re going through it. I hate HSBC. Didn’t even get the business account set up when I tried as they made it impossible. Was always the worst bank to secure accounts for young people. Doesn’t help you but at least you know it’s not just you.
