You literally have to argue with staff who try and force you to pay in via the deposit machine as it is.

Laurence Braithwaite (@LaurenceBraith1) reported@JaneRockHouse @HSBC_UK Sorry to hear and good advice. I've never had a banking app on my phone for this reason. Don't keep anything on your phone that can give anyone else access to your finances. Period. This includes Google Pay and other payment system apps. They're just not secure enough yet.

On the phone for 2hours where your employee was solely trying to get rid of me when the inflexible script couldn’t cope with the request. Finally got through to the right dept. & my simple request was resolved in 5 minutes.

Joe Langley (@langlineer) reported@HSBC_UK I’m a long term customer and I’ll be switching to another bank soon. Your customer service has gone off a cliff. Your phone messages state things can be done online that can’t. Some things only in branch, but can’t get a branch appt for months.
