Hi @HSBC_UK Been on the phone for almost 1.5 hours trying to get through to customer services and been cut off every single time whilst being transferred. This is so frustrating when counter services are being closed and online/telephone banking remain the only options

@firstdirecthelp moving to debit m/Card is a bad idea until you can offer the full service to pay cash in. You ever tried paying in cash at @HSBC_UK counter? You literally have to argue with staff who try and force you to pay in via the deposit machine as it is.

@MirabilisZ @HSBC_UK @Shelter Good points. I also have a hard time believig that this is really to help rather than another way to make money! After the exploitation by many multi-billion £ corporations, I just simply don't by that they "just" want to help! I don't buy it! Greed is too powerful to resist.

Wow! @HSBC_UK credit card that I applied via @MartinSLewis website. Was able to spend £70ish then tried to pay large deposit for house extension which would be paid off immediately it showed on the credit card. It was declined and blocked the card. Fair enough, new card,
