4 hours, 12 minutes and counting trying to get @virginmedia CS to resolve my issue. Last time it took nearly 12 hours on the phone across 4 days. @Hyperoptic please come to my area. I miss you.

  • JamesFS15 James FS (@JamesFS15) reported

@Hyperoptic approaching 18 hours since last evening when Hyperoptic service went DOWN, and thus is been very quiet with NO internet and NO sign of them fixing this! Just saying sorry, sorry, sorry which costs then nothing!

  • kirbysimcox Rich Milligan (@kirbysimcox) reported

@Hyperoptic Your customer service and support is very poor today; been without your internet all day & it appears I was given false information regarding repairs. Now no one is responding to my online enquiry.

  • atsukopearce Remnant Circus (@atsukopearce) reported

@Hyperoptic unbelievable still no internet from Christmas and now telling us no other support till 7th new year. Also no Compensation holiday time. So our Christmas and new year no internet doesn’t matter for your company.

  • iratesocialist Irate Socialist (she/her) 💙💚💜 (@iratesocialist) reported

I don't think @Hyperoptic is even trying to fix our internet. No vans, no engineers, no sign of the company whatsoever. 2.5 days of nothing. Say they can't get access (you'd have to be here for that) why didn't they arrange something with @sw9housing BEFORE this happened?!

  • eyousri Eslam Yousri (@eyousri) reported

@Hyperoptic @HyperopticCS @HyperopticBuild there is outage in our area for five days and the company just did could not fix the issue till now!!!! What a nightmare !!!! East Dulwich SE22

  • kieranmch Kieran McHugh (@kieranmch) reported

@jami__jami__ @jstn I don't think ISPs in the UK would have an issue with this. You would need a static IP address though (not common, Hyperoptic charge extra) and to configure port forwarding to the raspberry pi. It carries some security risk (your home network being DOS'd).

  • henrytojones Henry Tobias Jones (@henrytojones) reported

No internet now for nearly a week and a half thanks to @Hyperoptic - repeatedly telling half truths or worse blatant lies about the fix timeline. Total disaster during the holidays. I can see hundreds of other unhappy customers affected taking to twitter too.

  • AlphaRichard R (@AlphaRichard) reported

For what it's worth @Hyperoptic broadband are a mess. Their customer service is stuck behind script-based responses, and out-dated notions of "compensation". Wasted a month (so far) offline, paying for services I can't use, a cost Hyperoptic demonstrably don't care about. Ugh!

  • gerwyn Gerwyn (@gerwyn) reported

@mikeapollo Sounds about right for those two providers. We failed to get traction re Virgin and Hyperoptic. We would have settled for FTTC, but lucked out when they installed FTTP out of the blue for us. Honestly these new 5G devices are surprising lot great, even in bad weather
