Chase Evans if better letting agency. 7- Avoid east, go west if possible 8- Check if the home is damp or not. Check molding 9- Check consoul tax and make sure it's reasonable 10- Check avg monthly water/electricity price 11- Check if Hyperoptic has installation in the building or not 12- If you like a flat to rent, check RightMove for the building history. There might be signs of issue 13- Avoid places near council homes. 14- Take pictures of the flat if you decide to rent. This can help resolve disputes later on. 15- Always use a letting agency. Only a few months ago they charged me £600 to cancel after I got fired from my very first job I had to move into the city for. I lost my flat and among other things left THOUSANDS in debt and had to move back to an unideal situation. I’m only 22 btw.
