@darrengrimes_ Channel 4 is an exemplar of how a public boby should work: it’s completely self funding, is independent of any commercial forces which it means it can concentrate on its job: providing quality programming and unbiased news (provided for them by ITV!).

Well done #itv for addressing the issues in #SticksandStonesITV however overall I thought the story was exaggerated and the acting was pretty poor. Just watched #confession before it and the production and acting was a different league.

@Yr_Obt_Svt Bloody bugger. ITV has cancelled it coz based on night 1 broadcast in UK.(bad publicity) Stupid is as Stupid does. Thousands ofus(Kaat follower of OL 4 e.g.) are revastated. Series meant for more as it is left up in the air Was hoping 4 yr help as U have lot of influence.Cheers

@EmmaKennedy @astovold @ITV He was going through a difficult time, had addiction issues and, crucially, did not set out to harm anyone. I tend to agree that it was glossed over and public opinion was very much in his favour. If he had smashed a lamp over his wife’s head, he’d be toast.
