Meanwhile on ITV, 2 middle-aged blokes will be arguing over a botched job that should have been left to the professionals and which no amount of external help will fix.

I think it's more a case of the Ant situation. Itv clearly tried to support and help him through his issues. It doesn't seem that itv were forthcoming with support and help for Caroline Flack. I don't believe it is about him. Tragic news.

Just PSA that @ITV is currently showing a live game at world cup, not a 00's replay. Don't be fooled by the 480p stream quality.

@prodnose @newbiecoding @ITV I think it’s the measure of the man that he has gone in there . It hasn’t changed my mind about him or the disgusting party he is an MP of ,but going in there is not the worst of his sins and I’ve chosen not to watch , but sadly I would presume the viewing figures are pretty good

@prodnose @ITV The absolutely awful treatment of animals in the service of 'entertainment' is the tragedy and the disgrace

Glad #ImACelebrity is over. Haven't watched any of it but clips kept turning up on tv and social media. It's revolting that @ITV enabled a disgraced and disgraceful MP to skive from his work and that viewers seemed to be cheering him on.

@Councillorsuzie @prodnose @ITV He's corrupt and his incompetence cost thousands of lives, there's more than enough evidence of this now for that to not even be libelous. People like you are complicit liars who try to distort truth in the pursuit of status/more money. Poor quality humans

@ITV Your app is rather awful. When it came to my attention that the football was quite spectacular I attempted to rewind so I could capture the moments; ultimately to no avail. Then again you have a record of flopping World Cup screenings. I hope c4 get the next tournament.

@ArgyleLoz The issue is @ITV, made a lot of money from him being there. They don't care, they're laughing all the way to the bank as is he. Minus of course the cost of the PR company he hired.

@JohnBWaldron @ITV The crazy thing being he will now be on the TV more and will probably still be an mp even though he ****** of the job to do reality TV, he should be sacked like anyone else would be if they chose to not go to work for weeks and went on holiday instead.
