Meanwhile on ITV, 2 middle-aged blokes will be arguing over a botched job that should have been left to the professionals and which no amount of external help will fix.

I think it's more a case of the Ant situation. Itv clearly tried to support and help him through his issues. It doesn't seem that itv were forthcoming with support and help for Caroline Flack. I don't believe it is about him. Tragic news.

@ianfrombrox @JeremyVineOn5 The difference is, he is an elected MP who should be at work not on the television hunting for stars 🤯 @ITV

@gabyhinsliff Agreed. I’m sure the bottom line viewing figures will be delivered but this displays terrible judgment from @itv bosses.

@RealDeniseWelch @imacelebrity You always show your disgust to your employers @ITV and resign from Loose Women cos they are the ones who made the decision to ask him to do it and paid him that much. Problem solved !

@prodnose @ITV He should not be on any programme being paid any amount of money. He still has a constituency to work for. How anyone can appear alongside him and not think that they will for ever be known as "one who appeared with". Tasteless. Think of how the families feel

I watch #ImACeleb every year, its a great lead up to Xmas but this year its awful seeing #Hancock & being reminded of one of the worst years of my life. @ITV have failed to realise that many ppl are still suffering from the affects of covid. The pandemic isn't over for everyone.

@mjtward19 @antanddec @ITV I’m with you. It’s not like there are no serious or pressing issues to address. An MP’s place is in Parliament doing the job he’s paid for: representing his constituents.
