I think it's more a case of the Ant situation. Itv clearly tried to support and help him through his issues. It doesn't seem that itv were forthcoming with support and help for Caroline Flack. I don't believe it is about him. Tragic news.

Meanwhile on ITV, 2 middle-aged blokes will be arguing over a botched job that should have been left to the professionals and which no amount of external help will fix.

@BethRigby Remainers must be feeling very frustrated. Try as they may and even with the help of the BBC..ITV...SKY ... and a host of other media outlets. They aren't doing very well.

@prodnose @ITV The terrible misjudgement by itv is their disgustingly poor output. Used to have some fantastic entertainment. Now pumps out this pile of crap.

Wouldn’t it be better if television programme makers want an MP to make a sustained appearance on a TV programme to arrange their schedules around the parliamentary holiday periods. That way the MPs can work full time on their day job serving their constituents interests. @ITV

@JolyonRubs @ITV Utterly horrifying piece of TV. The very idea that his guy can earn £400k on a reality show, say sorry (for getting caught because he fell in love) but show no contrition for the inept, corrupt handling of the pandemic that saw tens of thousands die, is truly awful.

@prodnose @ITV Couldn't agree more. Worst IACGMOOH ever. Sad, because it usually gives me a lot of laughs. I can't laugh at or with Mancock.

@prodnose @ITV Here's a twist! Decided not to watch it as soon as Moyles was announced. Seems I've saved myself an awful lot of stress...

@Retiredgoth @prodnose @ITV He’s a tory - he will literally do ANYTHING for money. As he proved over and over again, delaying lockdown for Cheltenham races, his pub landlords overnight PPE company awarded millions, his sisters company PPE contract, 37 billion to his good mate Dido. Awful awful man

@prodnose @ITV You do know that he isn't the 1st MP to go on the show don't you? He's not even the 1st Tory to go on. Strange how he's the one you've got a problem with not the criminal that handcuffed a male ****** and beat him with a metal chain and also made a false report to NY police.

Sir Rodney Effing

@prodnose @ITV The BBC sacked Baker, maintaining that he had made a "serious error in judgement" that went against the values of the station.[27

If you want an example of what a broken moral compass looks like, look no further than @ITV putting @MattHancock on @imacelebrity. The show is supposed to be a distraction from everyday life and now is a painful reminder to anyone who lost loved ones or was unfairly separated.

@prodnose @ITV He's awful but essentially so is much of this type of TV #ImACeleb & #LoveIsland is like some kind of medieval bear baiting, waiting for people to be goaded and take verbal chunks out of eachother to please the armchair mob.
