@Sarah_Sudsey @GMB @ITV Exactly. But because people operate under incorrect blanket assumptions that cross-breeds are healthier than pedigrees, and certain breeds (pugs frenchies etc) are all bad, it perpetuates the problem. Bad breeding is the root cause of all of it, mixed or pure!

@darron_ward @GMB @ITV Yes Kennel club standards are the problem .

Caroline (@Tygrrrrrrrrr) reported
@GMB @ITV I don't think it's time to ban these breeds, but I feel there needs to be alot more done with these and all breeds to encourage the breeding of fit healthy dogs. Breeding out the defects and health issues to better the breeds! Too many breed for the sake of making alot of money!

@GMB @ITV That scrunched up nose on pugs & French bulldogs make it difficult for them to breathe. It’s awful for them.

Rosalba La Monica (@rolamo) reported
@itvcorrie @ITV @ITVX I agree with everything that most people have written on here, it's a completely ridiculous storyline (along with some others such as the Pat Phelan, Rick Neelan, Geoff Metcalf, Harvey, Griff the idiot storyline where there are are these awful, evil & /or murderous villains)

Help the elderly into an early grave, break rules and the Ministerial Code. Fck around at work and not lose your job. Destroy the economy and break people. Lie constantly. Then get paid £320k by @itv for #ImACeleb I'm glad Matt Hancock was yelled at. There is no justice.

dan shrimpton (@shrimpton_dan) reported
@GMB @ITV We have two pugs and have no breathing problems with them, a lot of this issue is down to them being overweight.
-
Dani (@DaniMark22) reported
@GMB @ITV My boy has no health issues and has no trouble breathing. The problem hete is the irresponsible breeding of them! Let's tackle this before putting the blame on the dogs!
