@alexberesfordTV ‘s job needs to be protected at all costs, @piersmorgan is the main talent as far as @ITV is concerned and they built the show around him so I know he’ll want to throw his weight around. I don’t think it’s staged cos it doesn’t help piers and makes him look weak.

@Twiverpool @ITV He’s an utter prick, and this is surely a reaction to his being found out, as was his walking off set. I can’t imagine how horrible it must have been to work with him during his newspaper editor days.

And again today, @ITV court (pay) Meghan's father, to cause more damage, because he can. If there was no money or attention, he wouldn't do it. Same for other family members. It's abusive and it's awful.

@DaveScott1977 It’s about power structures, the camera was set up for the shot etc and clearly @ITV is an abhorrent workplace so she probably feels trapped by the culture and huge power itv has given to Piers. If someone spoke to me like that at work I think I’d explode.
