@1968Tv I fully agree but there might be an issue on rights. The BBC as well as ITV no longer hold the rights to the Football League and the EFL won't take kindly to unauthorised airing of it's old highlights. They might have to pay extra to screen them.

@PhilipJCooper78 @Nick_Metcalfe Jeff Wayne’s Jubilation was used up to the end of the 85/86 season, during which there was actually no football shown until the 2nd half of the season. That was due to the dispute btw the Football League and the BBC/ITV. I think money was basically the problem!

@ITV commentary is the worst, only had to wait 20 mins to talk about Kane leaving then they criticize him for not being in the box despite just tracking back, winning ball, carrying the ball and finding Mount. Sterling though is never criticized despite losing the ball constantly
