No adverts normally increases quality, without the anchor of the Beeb, they would sell more and more advertising, meaning less quality. Tonight’s episode was possibly one of the worst hour of TV this year. Not sure if the scriptwriters have been told by @ITV to kill the soap off. Terrible doom laden stories with little light or shade. Close to being unwatchable. #Corrie
