  @Simonjhbenson @Ghoul_of_London There was a good talk last year by the archivist of an Old ITV franchise at Hampstead Photo Soc. Brideshead Revisited was made to pass the quality test ahead of Granada bidding to renew their franchise. ITV Franchises also had to have a decent regional offering.

  @PhilipJCooper78 @Nick_Metcalfe Jeff Wayne’s Jubilation was used up to the end of the 85/86 season, during which there was actually no football shown until the 2nd half of the season. That was due to the dispute btw the Football League and the BBC/ITV. I think money was basically the problem!

  Hate when games are on @itv/@stv. The @stv app doesn't work on LG TVs, the stream just doesn't load. No app on the Xbox either, and going to STV player in the browser works but crashes every 10mins. Pathetic considering BBC have flawless 4k HDR low latency streams.
