What's happened though is some of the soaps characters without purpose have been corrupted into climate change vehicles. I'm pretty sure Leanna never once mentioned the environment while alive.

That was due to the dispute btw the Football League and the BBC/ITV. I think money was basically the problem!

I think the thing that some people miss about comedy is the work that goes into it…Bob Monkhouse was a legend, and there was barely a topic he was not prepared to tackle with seemingly off-the-cuff one liners. Likewise, Barry Cryer and Sean Lock
