@bellamackie I couldn’t agree more and I’m baffled it’s allowed to continue. It’s manifesting into an obsession that ITV is enabling through the vitriol that comes out of his mouth. They have a responsibility, he needs to be held accountable/seek help.

You establish a career but it slips away not through lack if talent but the industry focuses on new trainees & conferences without supporting existing talent to proceed. Which doesn't bode well for younger people now sadly.

That's how informed the young people running these channels are about disability issues. I knew then there needs actual disabled people in positions if power before change will come. Thing is @ITV, while Matt Hancock is onscreen we are forced to confront and remember the awful times during lockdown. #ImACeleb should be a platform to move on from this, what everybody wants. But you seem to want to rub our noses in it. Why? His time onscreen is obscene to us.

We lost a friend to Covid in his early 60s due to the slow reaction of the government and Cheltenham going ahead. It’s all still too raw - the inquiry has only just started - yet Hancock made this rotten decision.
