@GMB @ITV I have two pugs that I love dearly, but anyone that says they don’t have health problem is deluded. They need the flat face & curly tail breeding out of them. They have lovely temperaments & shouldn’t have to suffer as they do.

  • pueblostar Lesley Harris (@pueblostar) reported

@GMB @ITV My 3 Frenchie are 6 months and have zero problems. When breeding, the father and mother should be tested before

  • populostone Martin Stone (@populostone) reported

@itvpeston @MelJStride @ITV Two undeniable facts are that 1) excess deaths are up and 2) long-term sickness preventing work has increased post-pandemic, why?

@GMB @ITV I have a pug my dog has no problems at all this is a ridiculous item 🙄 please leave pugs and French bulldogs alone

  • DaniMark22 Dani (@DaniMark22) reported

@GMB @ITV My boy has no health issues and has no trouble breathing. The problem hete is the irresponsible breeding of them! Let's tackle this before putting the blame on the dogs!

  • _jj_blue_ JJ “Legacy Fan” 🐝💙 (@_jj_blue_) reported

@Sarah_Sudsey @GMB @ITV Exactly. But because people operate under incorrect blanket assumptions that cross-breeds are healthier than pedigrees, and certain breeds (pugs frenchies etc) are all bad, it perpetuates the problem. Bad breeding is the root cause of all of it, mixed or pure!

  • SandraLynes1 Shwlong (@SandraLynes1) reported

@GMB @ITV Banning them would not help improve the health of the breed.

  • CandiceBrown Candice Brown (@CandiceBrown) reported

@GMB @ITV It’s not about banning them. This would cause so many more problems and lead to dogs being dumped, abandoned and killed. It’s so much more than this. I dont have the answers but simple banning is not the answer
