@fraserallan @stevenperkins @mrshavers I wouldn’t actually like to speculate on what caused what or what led to what. However, ITV has put in measures to address issues of exposure and vulnerability for contestants (I’ve just written about this for @HeadTalksNews).

@thisisAlanTurk @ITV @thismorning She probably laughed because what was she going to do ,creat a scene and possibly Mae trouble for herself. We have long laughed off comments that have taken our breath away. It is a Defense mechanism

@thisisAlanTurk @ITV @thismorning What exactly is the problem here? My friends and family constantly remind me I have hair like a sheep. Which I don't. It's far softer tan that.

@thisisAlanTurk @ITV @thismorning Awful to see so many focus on the victims in the moment reaction and find any way to blame the victim, rather than the horrible comments by Holmes and the undertones attached to his comments.

@thisisAlanTurk @ITV @thismorning Personally I don't see what the problem is... people have made remarks about my hair in the past... stop being so damn offended by everything... do you spend all day trying to find something to be offended about...

@thisisAlanTurk @ITV @thismorning She is clearly uncomfortable and her nervous laughter is an incongruous emotion that is probably a defense mechanism against emotions that may make us feel weak or vulnerable. This is terrible behaviour from Eamonn Holmes. There’s no excuse for this at all. Ignorance isn’t one.
