@fraserallan @stevenperkins @mrshavers I wouldn’t actually like to speculate on what caused what or what led to what. However, ITV has put in measures to address issues of exposure and vulnerability for contestants (I’ve just written about this for @HeadTalksNews).

@SarahC1305 @ITV Surveillance is a part of police work we rarely see on TV so could be fascinating and I don't even mind the 5 nights as we often watch 6 - 8 episode series but they need to tweak the script to liven it up abit #Viewpoint

@ITV - you’ve cancelled tonight’s #Viewpoint - are you kidding me? How does that help any of the people involved? Viewers have invested 4 hours in the story and not showing the final episode does a disservice to all of the other actors and crew who put the show together.

@ITV This is a #woke production. Hiring on demographics rather than talent. Some of the actors are terrible. Police women in wheelchair.

@NickFerrariLBC Tricky question for @ITV . Do they still screen tonight's final episode of #noelclarke ironically titled star vehicle VIEWPOINT in view of very detailed @guardian investigation allegations and BAFTA's action? As someone who has admired Clarke's work I'm shocked.

@itvnews @itv very disappointed in your decision. If we had to go back throughout history and erase shows and songs because an allegation was made against someone we would have nothing to enjoy. Other actors were involved in this show and their work cannot be enjoyed by everyone now.

For the record I like Alison, but am very disappointed, her position which gives her access to information etc - and still she is “hesitant”. @ITV is this the message you want to give. @thismorning you seriously need to help her.

@IndiaWilloughby @ITV How do you feel about the content in the clip being shown widely on Twitter - Clarke bashing the microphone against the women sat with him? And by content I mean that he is saying John Barrowman exposes himself in a work environment & everyone is just supposed to be ok with it!
