@kelvmackenzie @Tesco @ITV Decades of ripping off essential workers by flooding the labour market have led to this. It won’t be a quick fix, but it is necessary.

@itvMLshow @ITV @MartinSLewis Can you confirm this is a world issue, and all countries are in this issue, or is it just again a UK issue, with the rest of Europe paying a far less?

  • Charlottie40 Charlottie (@Charlottie40) reported

@kelvmackenzie @Tesco @ITV Just about sums Tesco up, the most mercenary and unethical of all the large supermarkets. I used to work for a company that supplied them, their treatment of suppliers is appalling. They’re a bully….

  • 67_mjm martin_m (@67_mjm) reported from Stockton-on-Tees, England

@Peston @DeborahMeaden @ITV She’s deluded, does she want U.K. to be that uncompetitive everyone is out of work and kept by the state! It’s impossible to do everything.

  • AnnedeAnnie AnnieD1203 (@AnnedeAnnie) reported

@kelvmackenzie @Tesco @ITV I’ve worked in logistics & one of the worst companies to work with is tesco. They have delivery slots for goods to go to the depot, which is fair enough as they would be overwhelmed, but if a delivery is late for whatever reason they will refuse to accept it🤔🤔

  • seasylvia2005 sylvia jackson (@seasylvia2005) reported

@Peston @DeborahMeaden @ITV People will be angry enough when their houses are flooded, people will die, but why not have a go at people trying to do something. It's easier isn't it than addressing the problem. We've been protesting for YEARS. What will it take for governments to act?

  • merlotonsat Lin O'Keefe (@merlotonsat) reported

@Peston @DeborahMeaden @ITV This is a really difficult one, but the scientific consensus is that we have a real problem with global warming/climate change that will affect us and our children even more. What do we do about it when nothing isn't an option? Perhaps citizens assemblies to discuss would help ?

  • aaron2510 Aaron O'Roarty (@aaron2510) reported

@itvMLshow @ITV @MartinSLewis Good Evening I'm with EON I've been on standard tariff since March. Just been told have to fix on more expensive tariff as their price increase October will be more than their standard current prices? Is this right have I done the right thing?
