  @DarrenEuronews It’s not the cause of the ignorance, but loosing @UTVNews on Cable has narrowed down our coverage of northern stories and issues. ITV content aside it would be great to see UTV try to work with Virgin on making news content available more openly.

  @RowleyfileRRR Highly unlikely. Lowest common denominator nonsense. They’re trying to attract people who aren’t interested in racing. There’s an obvious problem with that. Problem is the racing channels don’t have time between races for analysis, and ITV don’t have the interest

  @EmmaKennedy @astovold @ITV He was going through a difficult time, had addiction issues and, crucially, did not set out to harm anyone. I tend to agree that it was glossed over and public opinion was very much in his favour. If he had smashed a lamp over his wife’s head, he’d be toast.
