This is awful. So shocked, would have never expected this. RIP. I think ITV should now suspend Love Island in respect. #LoveIsland #CarolineFlack

@TheRug85 @EmmaKennedy @ITV Clarkson is looked up to by many “basic” chaps. His terrible attitude influences the dullards and their attitude to women. I’ve two girls who probably have to deal with misogynistic pricks all the time. Being enabled by Clarkson and his pathetic rants.

Secul8r (@Secul8r) reported
@TheLondonHughes @ITV Yes. Get over it. He wasn’t being serious. It wasn’t meant to be taken literally. He was invoking a scene from a hit TV show. Hysteria isn’t going to help.

Ian Grattidge (@GrattidgeIan) reported
@TheLondonHughes @ITV You know, it’s funny but I forgot about the thousands of Tweets demanding the cancellation of Game of Thrones because of the violence clearly shown to women. Should I seek help for memory loss?

Switch03 (@Switch03L) reported
@TheLondonHughes @ITV I don't agree with being rude to anybody if I can help it, but lets hold the phone a minute, those on the left can say some quite nasty things at time. Nobody ever seems to demand some sort of punishment and an apology is rarely given. Double standards I feel is going on!

@DanielaNadj @ITV You trans blokes have serious issues if you only see one man ms hate and nobody else’s.
-
Scotty M (@_scottym_) reported
@TonyDan42562281 @DanielaNadj @ITV The issue is that what Jeremy Clarkson said has been taken out of context and the original comment really wasn’t that bad, when you compare it to the horrific things posted daily on here, including Uju Anya’s comments. Yet people are baying for Clarkson’s blood. It’s hypocrisy.

Pete Graham (@pwete1) reported
@TheRug85 @EmmaKennedy @ITV I can understand your point here - however these people are not like us - he's a commercial package - he doesn't say it on ITV because he knows the consequences. He said it in the Sun because the Sun pays for hate - & he delivered. Problem is - he's one person/package.

Old Bones (@Frasier67Blank) reported
@TheLondonHughes @ITV Think more Rush Limbaugh etc. The more male, more posh & more connected you are, the more likely you are to survive. Barr was nuts. And advertiser's could see the problem. They won't with Clarkson. Or anyone else like him

@davidallan999 @DanielaNadj @ITV Refer not refute! Google for you! Gets you in trouble

@DanielaNadj @ITV He only said what a lot of us think. Trouble is too many snowflakes don’t like the truth
