Looks like KCom are increasing prices and giving you an "upgraded package"...Who ******** has £50 a month spare to spend on internet. Why increase my speed, no websites throughput that fast anyways. You are just monopolising us again. Forcing us to upgrade.

@HullCity Shame to lose the KC/KCOM as it has a ring to it but MKM doesn't sound bad at all! WELCOME TO THE M K M STADIUM.

  • HiConnorImDad spingo bobingo (@HiConnorImDad) reported

idk what's stunted the growth of Hull more, the bombings in ww2 or Kcom's insistance on giving the city the worst possible internet coverage with 0 competition

  • david_weston4 David Weston 🏆🐯🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (@david_weston4) reported

@HullCity Will never be the same as the KCOM and the KC 😭

  • davidapl3 David Lane (@davidapl3) reported

@KOMCARE problem with account. But waiting too long on phone and no response to emails. KCOM owe me money from my old account and are overcharging me on my new account.

  • daryldixon716 Daryl Dixon (@daryldixon716) reported

@GreatBr48769413 @Elwick70 They have had their own telephone system since early 1900’s, and now it’s part of KCOM.. quite a few examples of the Cream boxes still exist, they were also the uk first fully digital network, which started 1989!

  • TellyheVen tv heaven (@TellyheVen) reported

@Frank27588842 @Ugillham @britcultarchive The cable television (with terrestrial TV and radio) was operated by Rediffusion. The telephone network was owned by the Hull City Corporation (aka Hull Telephone Department) eventually rebounded Kingston Communications and subsequently floated and eventually became KCOM

  • Elwick70 Bryan Elwick (@Elwick70) reported

@GreatBr48769413 They were never part of the GPO, hence their own cream boxes rather than red. There were a few towns up and down the country who opted to run their own systems. All but Hull ended up joining the national network. Even today, there are no BT lines in Hull. It’s all KCOM

  • En2erTheMattrix Mattbot (@En2erTheMattrix) reported
