Mihu Nowak (@Mihu_Nowak) reported@KCOMhome Really??? No duh, current KCOM service it’s in 99.3% so ******🤮🤕I'm curious if I’m able to apply to a tribunal🤔
-
Daniel Rose (@ExileAryui) reported@JonKirby1974 The issue is in any other city it wouldn’t effect the entire infrastructure such as retail or hospitality but most companies are forced to use kcom and now they are no doubt losing custom and therefor money, it’s a sham… and needs addressing.
-
Rach (@dinkyrach) reported@zigzagtoes @Tosh_ag @MikeeP1981 Kcom itself has primary and secondary dns. You actually miss out on locally cached content by not using Kcom’s dns for your resolution.
-
Albert (@albertj485) reported@ZenInternetHelp Hi - I've recently moved into a temporary rental and it would be great to order your service, unfortunately for my next move I may be moving into the KCOM monopoly. If I move and you're not able to connect at my new address am I subject to early termination fees?
-

Lord of Sugar 💖🪄 (@lordsugar01) reported@cb_doge This is massive for Starlink and the UK’s rural communities. Ofcom officially recognising it as a legitimate broadband solution under the 10 Mbps USO rules changes the game. No more forcing people in hard-to-reach areas to wait endlessly for BT or KCOM when Starlink is already delivering reliable connectivity. Fewer premises now qualify for subsidised connections because Starlink is stepping us, that’s real progress. Innovation actually solving problems instead of endless bureaucracy. Well done to the team pushing this forward. Who else sees Starlink transforming connectivity in underserved regions like this? 🇬🇧🚀💖🪄
-
Helen Stebbings (@helenstebb) reported@MartinSLewis I've banked with @Barclays for 38 years and never had a single problem. Had my phone and later internet with kcom for 32 years. Now because of their ridiculous pricing and the fact their don't have a monopoly in Hull any more I am changing
-
Richard (@Droid_1989) reportedThat KCOM issue in Hull last night is the exact reason why KCOM's monopoly over there is a really bad idea.
-
Tigerax (@TigeraxGG) reportedKcom is down again. It’s getting cancelled. Fuxk the unprofessional staff and the company it’s fine tomorrow
-
Tesla Owners Silicon Valley (@teslaownersSV) reportedBREAKING: Starlink has received another major regulatory win in the UK. 🇬🇧 The UK's communications regulator, Ofcom, has confirmed that Starlink qualifies as a viable broadband alternative under the country's 10 Mbps Broadband USO rules. • Confirmation provided directly to ISPreview • Properties with affordable Starlink access may no longer be eligible for a USO connection from BT or KCOM • Some USO requests have already been declined because Starlink service was available • Ofcom previously said lower-cost Starlink plans reduced the number of underserved premises to around 4,000 The decision further reinforces Starlink's role as a trusted broadband option for rural and hard-to-reach communities.

-
Error404 (@DawsonsLeftPeg) reported@jordantyson92 @_kirst99 Everyone switching to tethering their phones for data with KCOM being down is strangling the networks. Spoke with a Three rep via DM massive spike in demand.
-
Alan Hemingway (@alanacct) reported@INDEPENDENT_MG @littlearfer You would have thought they could have come to some agreement to share the underground space. KCOM seem very bad at not facilitating help to other suppliers
-
DogeDesigner (@cb_doge) reportedBREAKING: UK telecom regulator Ofcom confirms Starlink is a viable broadband alternative under the UK’s 10 Mbps Broadband USO rules. 🇬🇧 • Ofcom confirmed this directly to UK broadband publication ISPreview. • This means that if affordable Starlink service is available at a property, it may no longer qualify for a USO connection from BT or KCOM. • Some applicants have already been refused a USO connection because Starlink was available. • Back in May, Ofcom said cheaper Starlink plans helped reduce the number of premises without affordable decent broadband to around 4,000. This is good news for Starlink, giving it stronger recognition from the UK regulator as a real broadband solution for remote and underserved areas.
-
Paul Reavley (@reavo81) reported@craigo_28 @Connexin In fairness… I think even KCOM would be down if a car full of drunken criminals had ploughed through their exchange box…
-
mark dawson (@dogster24) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, England@bbcburnsy kcom didn't do too well in Withernsea with their fibre install , chaos most of the time. There was damage to other services and the paths are worse now than they ever was and for what ? We had plenty of choice off the open reach network ...
-
Les (@MartinTwigs68) reportedKcom broadband has gone down, I ring up and it tells me I'm 172 inline and should use their web page. How f**king ironic
-
Lucy 🖤 (@lucyk512) reportedLove it when everything in the house runs through the wifi and then KCom goes down. At this rate we might as well have signed up to get the money for using less electricity because the only thing working is the sodding lamps.
-
Viking Photography York (@vikingphotoyork) reported@Holmes_Rich @KCOMhome There are issues with KCOM at the moment
-
Sam Reed (@tehreedy) reportedHmm @KCOMhome you seem to have members of staff coming down my street telling lies. I’ve just had an argument with someone telling me I haven’t got fibre, but I definitely know I have. It may not be KCOM fibre, but it is Openreach fibre. This feels very misleading to customers
-
DaGiNGeR42 🎗🇹🇷 (@DaGiNGeR42) reported@HULLCITYREFRESH I’d actually say KC sounds the worst out of KC KCOM and MKM. Maybe each name grew on me so it sounds better to me. I just think saying “we’re at the MKM on Saturday” has a nice ring to it
-
Joseph daniel foster (@DanielDanny4755) reported@KCOMhome #KCOM I’m a disabled customer of yours with no mobile & Wi-Fi dependent iPad &a landline I had no Wi-Fi most of the day #HU3WestHull &all your lines to busy( pre-recorded message) I’ve only just found out by accident it is back on - Not Pleased at all KCOM
-
Andy (@andyrobertshull) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, England@KirstieMAllsopp We had this issue in Hull for a long time as historically we had Hull Telephones that eventually became KCOM. It's only in the last few years when the Government changed the law and we got hundreds of telephone poles from different companies that things have changed!
-
ItsJustJosh (@Craucoes) reported@RomeoOscarEcho @declang05 KCOM are a bad company but one of thee best providers in the UK they’re one of limited company’s that provide Full Fibre across the UK. Issue is staff and management there are shocking and don’t care for customers. When I worked there we had 13 mins to take a call or loose pay :/
-
soph (@sophgamess) reportedI just wanted to play battlefield 1 all day and my internet is still down🫠 ****** Kcom surprise surprise
