mark dawson (@dogster24) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, England@bbcburnsy kcom didn't do too well in Withernsea with their fibre install , chaos most of the time. There was damage to other services and the paths are worse now than they ever was and for what ? We had plenty of choice off the open reach network ...
-
Hull FC (@hullfcofficial) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, England🚫📞 Please note, phone lines are currently down at the KCOM Stadium. This is a matter beyond the club's control, but we're working hard to get things back up and running as soon as possible. In the meantime, please call 01482 358 444 for all enquiries.
-
Andy (@andyrobertshull) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, England@KirstieMAllsopp We had this issue in Hull for a long time as historically we had Hull Telephones that eventually became KCOM. It's only in the last few years when the Government changed the law and we got hundreds of telephone poles from different companies that things have changed!
-
Mike Raynor (@MikeR_hcafc) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, EnglandWasn’t a bad match but the Bristol C 08 play off final still the best for me closely followed by FA Cup final. No chance of any feel good factor at a capacity KCOM anytime soon though. Fan base abused and decimated. What a sad state the club has become. Change needed asap #hcafc
-
Janine Gosling (@RadioJanine) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, England@KCOMhome HNY ... I'd like to know if the connexin wires crossing kcom wires are slowing down my WiFi. It's terrible what connexin have done with Poles. It should be illegal. It's a mess.

Also the people of Hull "oy rival Internet company, don't you dare put that blasted pole down our street, be off with you forthwith" (or words to that effect) #NIMBY

-
Ben Guzdek (@benguzdek) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, EnglandWithout a doubt the most dramatic end to a Grand Final I’ve ever seen. Hardaker misses the conversion to win the game for Wigan, Fages misses his drop-goal to win the game for Saints. But from the rebound, Jack Welsby touches down! The scenes in the KCOM stadium are insane!
-
Karl (@hcafckarl) reported from City of Kingston upon Hull, EnglandEveryone down at the KCOM tomorrow please! Let’s get a good amount of people there #hcafc

KCOM Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
HullCamGuy (@HullCamGuy) reported@angus_young61 The Connexin poles don't have foot pegs on them. This is an old Kcom pole that should have been removed before putting tactile paving down.
-
Rach (@dinkyrach) reported@zigzagtoes @Tosh_ag @MikeeP1981 Kcom itself has primary and secondary dns. You actually miss out on locally cached content by not using Kcom’s dns for your resolution.
-
Kev (@kevbez1969) reported@leemelonopie @KCOMhome I know a few who've been on it and they all said the same thing. It's good at times but too inconsistent. Lots of major slow down at peak times. 3 of them have gone back to kcom the others are still stuck in a contract but moving back when they can.
-
David (@MyMSPDay) reportedKCOM having another internet outage in #Hull. The service has been periodically unreliable recently.
-
Rach (@dinkyrach) reported@Ash_470 @PollardRach Kcom do not use the same lines as BT, they are fibre direct to the premises on their own network.
-
KCOM (@KCOMhome) reportedA KCOM spokesperson, said: “We apologise for the service disruption earlier today that affected customers across Hull and parts of East Yorkshire. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to fix the problem and everything should be returning to normal now.
-
Steve Parker (@steviee_p) reported@indianasc0nes @PollardRach There's no other line based provider in the area for people to review, that's the issue and a lot of people tend only to leave reviews when disgruntled. If any other provider was enter the area it wouldn't make a difference as they would rent Kcom lines though M3 are laying cable
-
Jon Kirby (@JonKirby1974) reportedHow much of hull is affected by the kcom being down?
-
Luke Bedford (@lukebed79) reported@ExileAryui @KCOMhome The monopoly has broken. With MS3 network cables now laid or being laid around Hull and East riding there is another 7 choices of fibre providers in the area. Im leaving kcom next month to go in a better package which is £20 per month cheaper
-
MotherOfFestiveDragons 🐝👩🏼🎓🇪🇺🦖 (@HullMichelle75) reported@JanPurling Oh Jan 😔 Hope you feel better soon. Someone tweeted about KCOM earlier and said it’s going to be down a couple of days 😯 x
