KCOM Issues Reports Near Manchester, England

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Manchester and nearby locations:

  • GeorgieBoy61 George Ferry Takeaway Services Bell #FBPE #NHSLove (@GeorgieBoy61) reported from Cheadle Hulme, England

@PJBuckingham They outplayed us at the KCOM so it was entirely predictable given our "Not-up-not-down" mindset!

  • paulxdesign Paul Burley (@paulxdesign) reported from Manchester, England

@ant_thedesigner That's a shame. It used to be the opposite problem: KCOM overpriced, the rest of the UK had caught up and the customers are left with no choice because of KCOM's monopoly as an ISP.

  • chilipeteb Pete Bottomley (@chilipeteb) reported

@D4V3Y @KCOMhome Unfortunately it’s not available here. KCOM have a monopoly which is why they couldn’t give a toss about the service they offer.

  • WiteWulf Gary Parker (@WiteWulf) reported

@graemefowler Well, a combination of duty to supply and the Universal Service Obligation that BT and KCOM have signed up to.

  • chewystuey stuart (@chewystuey) reported

@charlesmeade3 I will do as I have better knowledge of the Kcom network than you.

  • Feniandinho Noel👁 (@Feniandinho) reported

    KCOM WiFi has gone down.

  • Lynxii Lynxi (@Lynxii) reported

@KCOMhome KCOM down? Anyone else having issues?

  • timwilkinson__ Tim-in- Sutton-Hull (@timwilkinson__) reported

@Frenchdog13 You should see the KCom it’s awful 😞

  • charlesmeade3 Charles (@charlesmeade3) reported

@chewystuey That number of providers who can provide their own service cheaper are as limited as the point you make about Hull and KCom. I’m not confusing anything, he offered broadband at cost price to anyone who needed it. There are not service providers offering packages below BT cost lvl

  • DaveHCAFC Dave H 🎗 (@DaveHCAFC) reported

I know the weather hasn’t been great lately but how bad is the KCOM pitch. #hcafc

  • tall_n_moody Tom💙 (@tall_n_moody) reported

@DataAugmented Internet connections are far too expensive, where I am there is really only 1 internet company KCOM. The 400 Mbps down, 35 up, unlimited package is £50 a month, yet the 30 Mbps down, 15 Mbps up package is still £40 a month!

  • DerekNozedar Derek Nozedar (@DerekNozedar) reported

@jajHKR @SkyHelpTeam We had no end of issues when SkyQ was installed. Sky blamed KCOM, KCOM blamed Sky. Since Sky replaced all of our boxes after three visits lucky we’ve had no issues.
