Paul Burley (@paulxdesign) reported from Manchester, England@ant_thedesigner That's a shame. It used to be the opposite problem: KCOM overpriced, the rest of the UK had caught up and the customers are left with no choice because of KCOM's monopoly as an ISP.

Taking liberty's is an understatement! 🙄

Dan Ford (@DanFord1986) reported@Haths51 @RSGreen1983 @hulllive BT/Virgin TRIED to rent kcom lines to offer the city more options years back. Kcom offered an extortionate deal. Thats how they got round an investigation by the Communications Ombudsman. Its not viable for them to put in infrastructure without the customer base already there.

Bryan Jones (@jo12525637) reported@KCOMhome well, very poor first impression of KCOM. Install day and no internet. Frustratingly, they knew there was an issue a week and a half ago and neither told me or sorted it. I now have a new box with flashing lights that does nothing.

Backing Boris (@OptimisticLyon) reported@Frankel001 @tim_urbancrap @Kevin_Maguire To get full fibre FTTP no one can really compete with KCom at present especially if like some you want a landline phone. KCom are going VOIP in the near future and binning copper wire altogether. There is also the fact the office is based in Hull if you have problems.
